Absolutely adorable!
It's remarkable to me that I can now play virtually any video game from my childhood on a computer that's barely bigger than an SNES cartridge. And this case is an adorable way to house that computer. Installation was fairly straightforward, though the instructions weren't as clear as I would have liked. Specifically, getting the cartridge to sit at the top wasn't difficult, but it wasn't obvious to me from the drawing how to make it work (hint: the magnet from the bottom of the cartridge is removable and can be taped to the inside of the eject space, if that makes sense). Also, the details about the internal fan were unclear, though I'm not sure how necessary that actually is.Everything connects fairly cleanly, in the end, and there was an included screwdriver I found helpful. All in all, I'd say it took me about a half hour to forty-five minutes to assemble and I'm not particularly good at these kinds of things. It feels durable and I really like how the on-off and reset buttons are functional.

Case is awesome!
this Pi case is awesome. it's a little large, but i don't mind. fit and finish is great. it was packaged extremely well. love the fact that i came with heatsinks, a fan, and the on/off switch works. i love the look. running a Raspberry Pi 3b in there now and it fit perfectly. going to use it for OctoPrint for my CR10v2. I would buy this again.

*Awesome* case
This is a *really* well-designed case. When you first get it you can't help but flip switches and open / close the SD card storage slot. The weight feels good when it is loaded with a raspberry pi. (it doesn't feel cheap or flimsy)The SD card storage slot is kind of silly, but it definitely makes it a bit more enjoyable to play with.Don't bother with the screws for the cooling fan, it has a clip to hold the fan, and the screws look too long... I feel like they would push out the bottom of the case if I screwed them all the way in.Overall however, 10/10.. would buy again.PS, The Asus Tinkerboard also fits the case with a slight modification to the Ethernet hole (it's upside down on the Tinkerboard)

Love it! Minus some stuff
Fairly easy to install. Just make sure you pull up a Youtube video prior to installing. I docked off a star because I was missing a bottom screw and the script to use the safe shutdown did not work on Ubuntu ARM. Otherwise, a great product!

Awesome little case for a RetroPi setup, with a fan!
I have a Raspberry Pi 3B+ running RetroPi, and the old case I had it in didn't have a fan or a switch. If I played for an extended time, it would freeze up due to temp warnings. So in looking for a new case/fan, I found this.Assembly was very easy, the Pi board fits great, and the fan just pops in.The safe-shutdown and reset scripts took a bit longer, but eventually got there going through the github comments on the provided link. Now I have a fully functional little SNES box running RetroPi, and no temp warnings yet.

RetroPI? Buy this case!
Excellent case, easy and I do mean easy to put together. I thought my case didn't include instructions so I spent 30 minutes figuring out the wiring, fan install and power/reset buttons. Completed build successfully and tested it okay. Then I found the instructions during clean up. Simply configuration and I like the overall look and feel. Fan can be a bit noisy at time.

Absolutely Perfect
I had been looking at putting together a little RetroPie build for a while but I kept on putting it off. When I saw this case and all of the reviews praising it, I knew I had to go ahead and pull the trigger. This thing is perfect - I've ordered 2 of these and I have not found a single defect or any other problem with them. There was clearly a lot of thought that went into the design of this thing, with the clever routing of 2 USB ports to the front, a cover to hide the side ports, working Power/Reset buttons and even an eject switch. Basically, if you're looking for a SNES style or Retro themed Raspberry Pi case, this is the one you want.

Great looking device. Missing heatsink and fan.
This product and design is sooo cute! The setup and install is easy (don't forget to download the safe startup/shutdown script from the instruction manual via github). The side USB ports are a little narrow for larger USB plugs like a Wi-Fi dongle or other large USB housing, so be aware. The included mini-cartridge to mimic an old SNES cart is also cute. I would have rated this higher but the lack of a heatsink and fan as mentioned in the description is sad and misleading.

This is a great product!
This Raspberry Pi Case is great. The fit & finish is amazing. Everything works as it should. This case was very well designed. You can keep the heat sinks on your Pi AND use the fan, with some cases it one OR the other. I would only change one thing, the top "cartridge opening" should give you access to the GPIO pins but this is just my opinion. I would buy this again and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good Raspberry Pi Case. Keep up the good work Retroflag!

Worked great but I suggest you use an alternate safe shutdown script!
Bought this case to build an AIO console for my little nephews and they loved it. Very good quality hardware and looks great however it took awhile for me to get the right safe shutdown/reset script running properly. I did not use the one provided by the instructions and instead used one provided by crcerror on github. After installing that it worked flawlessly!

Great looking and solid plastic
This thing is the best looking SNES mini replica there is right now and my Pi sits perfectly is there! Don't get fooled by people telling you the safe POWER button is not working... you have to download and run a script for it to work! Yes, two command lines to replicate, easy stuff! I took a lot of time to shop this item and it was worth it! So many youtube videos to show you how to assemble... there is no reason to complain!

It’s a mini SNES!
Works very well. The reset button doesn’t seem to work as expected. Also the system seems to not power on with the switch. Confirmed wiring correct still same result. Maybe it’s just my unit?
