Looks good, strong, easy to install and adjusts for different heights from level to several stairs easily.

I installed this for my mom who was having issues getting up and down the stairs unassisted. Loved the look and style of this so ordered it. It is well constructed and the black powder coat is sound. My mother loves the final product. As far as the mechanical fasteners be very careful. I drilled the concrete hole as instructed using the bit provided. The first 7 concrete screws went in fine but the last one the screw broke off in the concrete about 1" down. The screws are NOT hardened. If you torque on them too much they will break off creating a nightmare for you. Once the screw is broke off not much you can do. The railing is as firm as expected and has some minor left to right movement if you lean on it but slight. If you are 200lbs + not sure how well it would stop you from falling if you pushed on it with all your weight. For a 100lb elderly gal it works great. If I were to do it again I would not use the hardware that came with it but purchased my own hardened concrete screws to avoid the issue. Make sure you drill out the hole a couple times and have a very clean hole before screwing the fastener in the concrete. The company should spend a couple extra bucks and send quality fasteners. . .

I'm in the process right now of getting these rails installed on both sides of my stairs and have ran into just a couple of problems but nothing that would deter me from buying them again. I tightened a bolt too tight and it broke but after a quick email, another one was sent out. Then while trying to put the second rail together, the middle rail couldn't be advanced into the post because of a defect inside the pole that created a small ridge and didn't allow enough space for the rail. Another email sent and I was told another whole railing would be sent, along with return postage for the defective one. l've been pleased with the way the company has quickly fixed any problems and was more than fair. Most of all, I love that its American made. Can't find that in much of anything these days.

I bought this railing to install in my grandparents house to access their garage steps. The top portion was fastened to wood and the bottom portion was fastened to the concrete floor. The wood fasteners worked great. The concrete fasteners do not come with the 1/4" Masonry drill bit needed to anchor them. Which FYI we ended up going through 3-4 masonry bits and the anchors did not grab well. We ended up using a Hilti drill and used self tappers to mount it. They could hit it with their car and i don't think the thing would move. The only other issue i had was the Allen Wrenches that were sent did not fit the screws to assemble the rail and needed to use my own. Just make sure you have the right tools to install this product.

I have a set of 3 steps constructed of 2X12s leading out to my garage. There were no handrails for many years and up until recently I never gave it a thought. But as I aged I began to feel a little unsteady on them. So, I decided to add a handrail and ordered this one. Very glad I did as it gives me a feeling of security as I go up and down. Very well made and sturdy rail- installation fairly straightforward if you have tools and are OK with using them. It comes with installation screws (one set for wood and one for masonry) and good instructions. Because I can get to the bottom of my steps so Ichose to drill holes through and us my own carriage bolts which worked well.

This hand rail is just as described. I am very pleased with the product.I over tightened one of the Binding bolts and broke it.I called customer service and left a message.The called me back within 24 hrs., and told me they would send me (3) new bolts.I received them the next week, they actually sent me (4) and the allen wrenches to tighten the bolt.I would recommend this product to anyone and plan to buy it again for a different location.

The railings were very easy to assemble. Since I placed these on porch steps which are composite decking I had to go under the steps and attach some wood planks underneath so supplied wood screws would not come out. Space underneath was limited but was able to get it done. The supplied Allen wrenches that are used for the fasteners do not fit properly and the fasteners are very soft material. Was able to work around but did strip the head of one fastener. Worked around it. Very sturdy and looks great. My wife was pleased so that means a success.

The product arrived sooner than expected, packaging was secure and installation instructions and materials were top notch. The product arrived with materials that would accommodate installation on wood decking and/or cement - brick pavers ... very nice indeed! Had one problem with the handrail, there was a small blemish on the inside of the top rail. I contacted the seller and the issue was resolved ... a can of matching spray paint arrived on my doorstep within a week.
