The Asterisk War, Vol. 2 (light novel): Awakening of Silver Beauty

I started reading this after watching the anime which animated the first couple of volumes and it was not really any different than from what was already written in the light novels. I was satisfied with the book and I like the fact that I could easily read any of the volumes in a matter of hours because the light novels are not that long compared to other books. If you want a interesting story that is a quick read I recommend this book.

Love the series both book and tv! I watched the series first and loved it. Then I had to read the books to get more background.

I really liked it, and the new girl Kirin is very cute. However, keep in mind that the book shown on amazon is actually the 2nd volume of the manga, not the LN, the pic above is how it actually looks.

Love the anime and had to get the mangas to get deeper into it, sadly after waiting about a week and I understand this could be from Amazon's delivery, there was a dent at the top of the spine, and what appears to be a crease or even at near the mod bottom of the spine.

I picked up the first book because I wanted more of the anime, but I'm not expecting another season. So far the LN still has not caught up the the anime, but they're different enough that they're still quite enjoyable. I'll be moving onto volume 3 soon.

I really enjoyed the story and portrayal of the characters. I read a lot of light novels and this is one of my favorites. If you enjoyed the Asterisk War anime, you'll definitely like the light novel series.

I chose this rating because I like the story. I did not know that Anime, Mangas, and light novels could be so cool.

This volume was, while better than the first one, still only average in presentation. The new heroine was an improvement over the previous ones introduced, as she seems to possess some degree of personality, but I feel that she should have been older than presented (13... seriously Miyazaki-sensei?) in order to be a tad bit more believable.The hints of tech unique to the setting, while interesting, were immediately dropped; making it feel rather pointless.Here's hoping the entire point of the series (the Festa) doesn't disappoint.

First of all unlike what other reviews on here say THIS IS NOT THE MANGA VERSION ,THIS IS THE LIGHT NOVEL . Very enjoyable and solid continuation of the story worth the price and plan on continuing the series roll on volume 3

Como siempre la entrega fue puntual llego en buen estado y me ayudaron en cualquier parte del proceso.Las ilustraciones son hermosas teniendo en cuenta el tiempo en que las hicieron.La historia como lo he dicho en anteriores reviews es un poco genérica pero te mete conforme lo lees y ya en volúmenes siguientes cambia bastante.Muy recomendado si te gustan las novelas ligeras de accion.
