I started planting these a couple of months ago now, staggering them to get as much flowering as possible. After sowing, there was a very high growth rate, hardly any didn't sprout at all. Very happy.

Cosmos germinate like weeds normally. Not a single one of these germinated. Extremely disappointing.

The cosmos was so easy to grow. Just sprinkle and let Mother Nature do the rest. Very pretty addition to my garden.

Great germination return, lots of seedlings and they look strong. Looking forward to pretty flowers this summer!

Germinated well

Finally got some buds on these plants but when the first came into flower today, the flower is nothing like the picture!

The seeds germinated pretty well, grew on quite strong. I planted them out into the garden, and at first started growing quite well but then didn’t really get going as well as I had hoped, probably due to the weather and our garden being very dry. Nice flowers that are a little unusual though.I had seen some in the Salutation gardens at Sandwich in the summer of 2017. Theirs did very well with quite big blooms, mine had quite small blooms, and the plants were much smaller too. It may be they were slightly different, or most likely my very dry garden. Maybe I’ll try them again next year.
