Caused alot of unneccesary drama between teenagers when the toys were for the babies
The toys themselves are awesome, but not when there is a house full of kids/guys who believe in aliens, and then you have psycho-ass girls who get offended by what the boys write. OMGoodness, DRAMA!! LOL

Just What I Expected/Wanted
We homeschool our six-year old daughter. By the end of two hours of writing a day in English, handwriting, and a number of other classes, her little fingers are almost too tired for her ten minutes of daily piano practice. As an idea, we bought 200 of the Megcos lower-case letters and 100 of the Megcos capital letters. They stick to our white board fine and are great for spelling. We sorted them into labeled plastic snack bags by letter. Spelling with the Megcos letters might be a little slower than a six-year old writing them out, but not by much -- they spend a lot of time thinking out each letter at that age.The Megcos letters are not "heirloom" quality and I did not expect them to be -- based on the price and the previous reviews. I would not recommend them for a family with toddlers, as the letters are small and could be choked on...I'm a little worried our dog will snatch one up and choke even! But they are definitely the right size for a five-, six-, or seven-year old, in my opinion. In a year or two, when our daughter's fingers have more endurance, the Megcos letters will find their way to the local Goodwill Thrift Store or the garbage can...but they're useful for now.Strangely enough, I got NO capital P's. The capital I and the lower-case l are the same. The lower-case n and the lower-case u are the same. The lower-case b and the lower-case q are the same. The lower-case d and the lower-case p are the same. Does that matter? Well I can turn an n upside down and make a u, but I would like my q to have a backward hook at the bottom and I have no idea what happened to my P's! I'd still buy them again though.

Skip these
Letters were very small and would not stay upright on magnetic board. The magnets were not placed properly. Too small to display to class.

Not very magnetic at all!
The letters do not stick to anything. Not very magnetic at all!!! Wouldn't recommend them. My grandson uses them to load in his dump truck. That's about all they're good for...

A few letters have curvy tails that throw kids off
The bucket is not full, but there is a clear cone in the center to make it appear full, which I was aware of from other reviews. The letters are smaller than I expected, but I can get past that. I work with kindergarten students who are just learning the letters. The biggest issue I have with them is that some of the letters, especially the t and the f have tails that don't match the design of the rest. Kids have a tough time recognizing them with the curvy tails that seem out of place on some of the letters. Many times, my students mistake the t and the j because they look so similar. On the bright side, they are durable and, with their small size, they work well with individual magnet boards.

Great value!
I purchased this item for my classroom. Though I was disappointed with the mix of uppercase, lowercase, and numbers offered in another of Megaco's products, I ordered this anyway. I'm happy that I did, because this item is far superior to the other. This item contained all letters of the alphabet, and smartly contains many more vowels and several more high-frequency letters than the other item did. I now have plenty of letters to make words on a whiteboard for students to see. This is not a full class set, but I can use it in small groups of 7-9 students easily.

Nice, but tiny!
Cute, basic, alphabet magnets. What I didn't realize from the listing, is that they are tiny! These are about half the size of letter magnets I've had before. Perhaps this is a new standard size? The "o" is about the size of a US nickel. All but one "w" stick on the fridge, and none of them hang crooked.Overall I'm happy with them, but I was surprised at how small they are.
