I’ve been using this serum as part of my evening skincare routine, and it’s definitely a unique product. It has a slight prickly sensation when applied, similar to a very gentle microneedling effect, but it settles down quickly and isn’t uncomfortable. After using it consistently, my skin has felt smoother and more refined, and my complexion looks a little brighter and more even. It layers well with the rest of my skincare, although I prefer using it at night because of the tingling sensation. A little goes a long way, so even the smaller bottle lasts longer than you might expect. If you have sensitive skin, it’s worth introducing it gradually to see how your skin responds. Overall, this is an interesting treatment serum if you're looking to improve moisture and skin texture. It feels like a step up from a standard serum and leaves my skin feeling smoother, softer, and healthier-looking with regular use.

I have been using this for a little while and i've had no adverse reaction considering I have really sensitive skin. I am layering it with my previous Q&A serum first. Too soon to tell if it's making a difference. Watch this space.

This is a small tube at 10ml but it works really well. I purposely wanted to use this for a full month to make sure I could say what I'd seen with my skin and I do have to say my skin is looking much better than when I've tired all sorts of other creams and serums. The starter one at 0.1% strength is great as even that you can feel the results. It does tingle when you put it on but that goes away after a while. I hadn't actually heard of spicules before, which are in this to help with the microneedling property to get this product into your skin. These can increase your sensitivity to the sun and risk of sunburn so it's important to still wear an spf during the day, even though this product is to be used once a day at night. It's given me much smoother looking skin as I was getting a bit selfconscious of the texture. It absorbs easily and is lovely and moisturising as you get used to it. Easy to apply in the tube, because it's a serum pushing the top releases a nice portion to apply around your face.

Skin felt noticeably smoother after only a few uses, with a slightly tingling sensation during application that fades quickly. Texture absorbs fast and leaves no heavy residue, which makes it easy to include in both morning and evening care. Complexion looks more refined, particularly around uneven areas that usually take longer to improve. Initial use requires a bit of caution since the sensation can feel unusual at first. With consistent use, results become clearer without irritation. Works well layered with other products without causing issues. A solid option for improving skin texture without complicated steps.

This Erborian Ginseng Micro Shot Retexturising Face Serum comes as a 30 ml bottle securely boxed. It has a great, built in pump and it is easy to dispense the clear fluid. I couldn't detect any fragrance at all. The key ingredients are Ginseng and Collagen but I also see Hyaluronic acid (as Sodium hyaluronate) on the ingredients list. Collagen is quite near to the bottom of the ingredients list on my box so maybe it's less of a key ingredient. I have mature, dry and sensitive skin and there are warnings on this serum that it should not be used on sensitive skin. However, since I'm a regular user of Retinol (Vitamin A) and have used several premium exfoliation skincare products I decided to try out the product after testing it first. My neck skin showed no reaction or irritation so I went ahead and tried it on my face. Because of the mention of micro needling, micro shot, micro channels and spicules on the listing I thought it would at least feel slightly different from my regular serum but it didn't. It felt exactly like applying my usual premium nighttime serum. I applied 2 pumps into my left hand and dotted it all over my face before blending it in. It spread easily and didn't feel sticky or greasy. It didn't feel at all granular and absorbed into my skin quickly. Following application my skin felt smoother, softer and moisturised. I applied my regular night cream on top and my skin still felt smooth and moisturised the next morning. After a few days use my skin feels smooth. I'm just not sure about the micro shot, micro-needling and spicules. If anything that description tended to put me off using it more than it attracted me to use it. Maybe that's just me. My sensitive skin wasn't irritated after use and I'm happy to continue using it. At £42 for 30 ml I think it's fairly expensive without being a worldwide, well known, premium brand name.

Wow, I'm really impressed with this product! My skin feels so much smoother after just a few uses, which is amazing. I noticed a slight tingle when I applied it, but it went away super fast, so it wasn't bothersome at all. It's definitely a great addition to my skincare routine. I'm excited to see even more results!

What you get – 10ml of Ginseng and collagen microshot serum aimed at pores, skin texture and bounce. It comes in a lightweight pump dispenser and bear in mind it is a small amount at only 10ml, but you don’t need a lot as it spreads well for the amount you actually need to use. I used it after washing my face, when it noticeably needs moisturising, and on application it feels cool, spreads and absorbs well and isn’t greasy and it feels good on and after application. For me there was a warm feeling that persisted and not from sensitivity. While it doesn’t have a fragrance it does have a pleasant neutral substance odour and you are aware you have applied it. Does it work? I think it has done something. I primarily used it on my cheeks and across my nose and it certainly moisturises and my skin seems to look better. If this is a product that you would use it is certainly worth trying to see the results, even as a basic moisturiser it works, with the other potential other benefits.

I think Erborian was the first K-beauty brand I tried, many years ago, and I find their products are generally very good quality. I have seen quite a lot about spicules in skincare recently so I wanted to see what the hype was about. Spicules were inspired by micro needling where a device with lots of little needles is makes micro tears in the skin. It's believed this helps boost skin renewal by kick-starting collagen and elastin production as well as helping get skincare a little deeper into the skin. This serum contains spicules from naturally derived ingredients and these mimic the action of micro needling by creating the micro tears before dissolving over a period of time. If you think this sounds like it could be painful, don't worry it isn't at all. This has a standard smooth serum texture which I apply in the evening. It doesn't stipulate exactly how to apply it - should it be smoothed over the skin or patter onto it? I've been patting it on so hopefully the spicules work as intended and there's no scratching of the skin. I've only been using this for a short while so it's a bit early to see long term benefits but so far my skin feels a little smoother and quite supple. It recommends a patch test first and may not be suitable for sensitive skin but I haven't had any reaction to it. It also says you may feel some tingling after applying but I have only noticed a very mild tingling sensation when applying some moisturisers afterwards. Nothing uncomfortable and certainly not painful. I look forward to seeing how my skin looks and feels after using it for longer.

Ich war soooo neugierig und gleichzeitig total skeptisch: Ein Serum, das von Micro-Needling inspiriert ist, aber ohne Nadeln auskommt? Klingt so'n bisschen wie FitnessStudio ohne Schwitzen - also voll mein Ding. Als das Serum endlich ankam, las ich mir die Packungsbeilage durch und war etwas erschrocken bis zögerlich: Dort steht nämlich, dass das Serum durchaus ein Brennen verursachen kann. Wollte ich das? Nee. Bin ich Masochistin? Auch Nee. Habe ich's trotzdem gewagt? JA! Also ging's direkt abends nach meinem üblichen Abschmink-/Wasch-/Pflege-Prozedere los. Zuerst fiel allerdings auf, dass der Glasflakon recht schwer ist und durchaus nett aussieht. Beim Entnehmen des Serums musste ich allerdings feststellen, dass der Flakon wohl nicht 100%ig durchdacht ist - Grund: Es bleibt irgendwie immer ein kleiner Rest in der schwer zu erreichenden Schiene des Pumpkopfes hängen und ich weiß aus Erfahrung, dass das irgendwann unansehnlich gelblich wird. Ich behelfe mir zwar mit einer Art selbst konstruiertem Zahnstocher-Tissue-Geknödel, aber so wirklich das Wahre ist das nicht. Wie auch immer. Kommen wir zum Eingemachten, darum geht's ja hier schließlich. Das Serum ist leicht, milchig-weiß und duftet nur sehr dezent. Hier kann ich geruchsķempfindlichen Menschen absolut meine Empfehlung aussprechen. Da ich selbst aber nicht geruchsempfindlich bin, maße ich mir sicher nicht an, für alle zu sprechen - jmd anderem ist das winzige, für mich kaum bis gar nicht wahrnehmbare Bisschen vllt schon zu viel. Die Textur ist angenehm, klebt nicht und lässt sich problemlos in die Haut einarbeiten. Pluspunkt: Das Serum verträgt sich bei mir gut mit den anderen Produkten, auf die ich nicht verzichten will/kann, was nicht selbstverständlich ist. Layern ist also offenbar kein Problem. Schon beim ersten Auftragen merkt man ein minimales Kribbeln, das aber WEIT entfernt von "brennen" ist. Es zeigt vielmehr, dass da gerade was passiert. Nochmal: Keine Sorge, es fühlt sich nicht an, als würde man das Gesicht mit einem Mix aus Nadeln und Tabasco maltretieren, sondern eher wie ein sanftes Hallo für die Haut - und ich versichere: schmerztechnisch bin ich ein Piiiiiiiiienzchen. Jetzt aber zur schönen Überraschung: Nach nun knapp zwei Wochen Anwendung wirkt meine Haut ebenmäßiger; das ist unbestreitbar KEINE Einbildung! Besonders im Spiegel am Morgen, diesem bekanntlich gnadenlosen Richter, sieht mein Hautbild irgendwie frischer und "runder" aus. Natürlich, die Poren und Pigmentflecken sind nicht über Nacht verschwunden - das zu behaupten wäre eine dreiste Lüge. Aber die 'Problemstellen' wirken sichtbar verfeinert. Meine Haut fühlt sich insgesamt geschmeidiger an und sieht einfach gepflegter aus. Vorläufiges F A Z I T : Das Serum ist sicher kein Zaubermittel, aber definitiv ein MiniaturMagier mit Hautbild-Zauberhut. Wer seiner Haut etwas Extra-Aufmerksamkeit schenken möchte, ohne gleich zum echten Micro-Needling zu greifen, kann dem Serum durchaus eine Chance geben.

I guess I already knew I wasn't going to give it a 5 star rating based on the size to price ratio. But I love the idea if a ginseng in skin care. So, I got the 0.1% starter serum for $19 to try out before I consider $50 larger version. The starter I got is truly tiny!! I am not a novice to spicule delivery system of skincare (thank you, Medicube!) So, I knew what to expect. I just didn't expect that little of the action from a spicule serum. Spicules are barely noticeable. So, no, will not be buying more.

Das Serum funktioniert wie eine Art Microneedling für zu Hause, kommt aber völlig ohne Nadeln aus. Stattdessen nutzt es feinste Sporen einer Alge (Spicula), die die Haut im Mikrometerbereich minimal aufrauen, sodass das Serum tief in die Haut einfließen und seine volle Wirkung entfalten kann. Es gibt das Serum in zwei Stärken (0,1% und 0,3%), je nach Vorerfahrung. Da ich absoluter Neuling auf dem Gebiet bin und eigentlich sensible Haut habe, habe ich mich bewusst zuerst für die sanftere 0,1%-Version entschieden. Anwendung, Verträglichkeit & Duft Verträglichkeit: Trotz meiner sensiblen Haut vertrage ich das Serum absolut problemlos. Ich trage es jeden Abend auf und es gibt keinerlei Irritationen. Duft: Ein absolutes Highlight ist für mich der Geruch. Die Creme riecht unwahrscheinlich gut – ganz zart, sehr leicht und absolut nicht aufdringlich. Einfach sehr angenehm! Erste Ergebnisse & Fazit Ich bin wirklich überrascht, denn ich kann tatsächlich schon nach einer Woche täglicher Anwendung erste, leichte Veränderungen und Verbesserungen an meiner Haut feststellen. Der Preis für das Produkt ist zwar recht hoch, aber die Leistung hat mich absolut überzeugt. Ich bin so zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis, dass ich demnächst zusätzlich auf die 0,3%-Variante umsteigen werde. Mein Plan ist es, die stärkere Version dann zweimal die Woche zu nutzen und an den restlichen Tagen weiterhin bei dieser 0,1%-Variante zu bleiben. Eine klare Empfehlung für alle, die sich an das Thema herantasten möchten!
