I bought magnetic clasps from a different seller on Amazon which were gold plated and great! But I needed bigger claws for a body chain of mine. I found that this magnet is not as strong as the other one and began to turn quickly. I definitely would not recommend this if using for real jewelry as it will cheapen your high quality pieces. Only good for costume jewelry and pieces you won't wear everyday.

I was skeptical I didn't think it would stay but after adjusting my necklace several times it doesn't come apart. The only negative is it's metal so it does tarnish. But it's the back of the necklace so you can't see it.

I put these magnetic clasps on a pendant that I wear 24/7 and after a few days I began to see some wear on the gold. Before too long the gold had disappeared and was down to the silver. Will not be reordering these in the future.

Bought this for a gold chain I had to use 2 of these clamps for support, it still broke. Looks like I got what I paid for, this was cheap was better off taking my chain to a jeweler

These are huge and very heavy! I bought them for a very delicate necklace of mine with a teeny tiny lobster clasp that was difficult to open and close without a microscope. This certainly makes it easier to wear, but the clasp is so heavy that it often offsets the balance of my necklace, which is uncomfortable.

The color of these is a garish gold color that does not look good with real gold jewelry. I am not going to use.

They’re larger than I was expecting and adds weight to the necklace so it always ends up shifting to my front. From the back, it looks odd and one even unhooked itself so magnets are not ask that strong. Ended buying smaller, 14kt gold ones from an online jewelry store. 2 for $99 but worth it.

These are great and make fastening necklaces so much easier. They do tarnish easily, however. But, they last a good length of time, depending on how much necklace is worn.
