THUMBS AND PAWS UP!!
UPDATE: I contacted seller about remote not working. Recv'd immediate response, they mailed us a new remote which we received in about a week (and that was with shipping delay due to weather). Replacement remote works fine. So all good. Would definitely recommend this system over the others we have sunk money with chronic inconsistency in current and eventually all stopped working.ORIGINAL REVIEW: This is our second electric fence for the dogs. For a long list of reasons, went with a different brand and picked this Koolkani set as liked that it also has remote to double as a training set. Only one remote/collar needed on each dog. Until now, they've had to wear two (one for fence, one for trng). The wire included with this set much more substantial/sturdy than the wire that came with previous system. But, really didn't want to have to re-do 300'+ of new wire so was thrilled that it worked to just hook up this new transmitter with the wire we already had installed around the yard and house. This system seems to be much more reliable; so far has not shorted out, is not temperamental like the FunAce system. The big let down has been that the remote does not work, never has. Won't even charge. Hoping distributor will send us a replacement. Will update review once this issue resolved (or not). So, 3-star rating is average of a 5-star rating for the fence system and a 1-star rating for the training remote.

BIG WASTE OF MONEY
We purchased this invisible fence in February 17/18 and because of weather conditions we waited about a month to install it. It tooks us about 4 hours of hard work to dig the line (we rented a trencher) and once we buried the wire, the invisible fence worked well! My dog learned the boundaries and we kept him in our property. But after 3 months of use it simply quit working. It doesnât not have a on or off button, or reset or fuse or anything indicating how turn it on back again. It only has up and down buttons and left and right arrows. It went off one time before and my husband pushed the up button and it came back on. We noticed the dog was running outside the fence line and thatâs how we realized that it was off. But after a month of that happening it quit working, my dog ran away and some how lost one of the collars.I am very disappointed we called Amazon CS and they gave us the âmanufactureâ phone number because in any of the papers that came with the collar had a costumer service number. Then that number Amazon CS gave is was the wrong manufacturer. Then we called back Amazon and they couldnât tell us WHO was the manufacturer and since it has need more than 30 days Amazon warranty doesnât cover it for a exchange. They offered us 2/3 of what we paid and we are required to return everything we purchased. YES!!! Even the extra 500 feet of extra wire that came with this fence. So They want us to pull out 1000 feet of wire that took us 4 HOURS to buried??!! I donât think so!!!We paid $240 for this fence plus extra 500 feet of wire for only 3 months of âokâ service!!!??!!IT IS RIDICULOUS!!!Waste of money you better get just a training collar for the price of this invisible fence that only works for a couple of months. Dog kept running away because the electric controls kept turning itself off.BIG WASTE OF MONEY

Not best for price
When we first got this system for our 3 dogs I was excited and pretty happy since we could use at the campground also with the remote. It is hard to get to get them all connected. We had to make sure to label the units and the controller to make sure we were correcting the appropriate dog. A few months ago one stopped working all together. Then one just works with vibration only and now hook up to the to the yard anymore. So for the cost of the unit at just under $300 not sure that a year was worth this money since we really need a new control and new units. And also if your dog gets sprayed by a skunk you never get the smell out of the plastic collar or the unit.

Great Collars
Purchased 18 months ago and remain very happy with the collars. I purchased to replace a Sport Dog system that had started to randomly alarm the dog collars, freaked out the poor girls. Hooked it up to the existing underground wire and worked perfectly!I was a little concerned with how long the rechargeable batteries would last. Typically we recharge 1/week, but have gone as long as 3-4 weeks and the batteries have never gone dead. they typically charge in less than 30 minutes and never more than an hour in our case. I'm sure this will vary depending on how much your dog test the boundary, ours know their limits and do not test them very often so you may get a different battery life. The only negatives are there limited adjustability to the shock level campared to our old system. And the dust covers over the charging ports are difficult to remove/replace, and also get damaged easily (has not caused any performance issues to date).Overall still very satisfied after 18 months of use.

Easy to use works for multiple dogs
This has been great easy to use. The one problem we have had is the remote for the collars has broken the internal battery came loose.

Worst ever system. DON'T waist your money.
This system craps out in a matter of months. The seller will send replacement but that doesn't last.
