good product
It was a little dark for me. Applied it existing cedar as I though it would be better but it was very very dark and detracted from the natural colour. went for 410 instead which was clear but still darkened the cedar wood cladding but looked ok. returned this product and got a refund less small admin charge and postage for being opened. which i couldnt disagree with ;-) delivered well in very substantial packaging to protect it

Excellent product
The product was used to re-oil the garden room at the recommendation of the company that built it. It looks amazing now.

Colour description is way off. Way, way off!!
The description on the tin says “transparant, lightly pigmented”. The pictures on the tin show a lovely coloured, wooden clad building. This s**t is brown! See pictures. Applied as per instructions. Goes on well etc. RUINED £1000 OF CEDAR! If I wanted brown preserver, I’d have bought brown! I’m absolutely distraught with the colour and they should be some actual indication somewhere on the tins showing the true finish! Thank goodness I started at the unseen end of the building! Gutted. Tin wasted and cedar ruined.Shame, it seems like a good product, Osmo should sort their descriptions and images out!Once the wall was covered I attempted to soak up and rub off with some old towels in order to try and dull down the finished effect. Once dried it looks like I’ll be attempting to sand back the finish to see if I can bring back the more natural look that I thought I was biting into.

Not transparent..Red/orange in colour.
Nearly used this on my cedar cladding but thank god I didn’t, instead I used it on an off cut first.Beware, this is slightly red/orange colour and will cover over your natural cedar wood grain. It’s not transparent as advertised.Could possibly be used on pine or something else to resemble cedar wood.Have now purchased the clear/ transparent satin version Osmo 420. See how that goes.

Reliable product. Had previously bought same item.
Bubbles came on surface when used. Not too much of a problem though. Could be due to cold conditions or dampness although the cabin seemed to be dry. Recommend use when temperature is 10 degrees C or above. Ensure timber is dry.Having noted above the finish is still excellent. Colour warm and looks very good.
