Very small beads and hard as well

Lovely textured beads that have knots inbetween each one so there is no movement and no fraying of the cord. The beads are large enough and there is enough space between each to feel each bead separately so there is no need to look at them whilst chanting instead you can just slide your fingers and thumb along. The only thing I miss is a counter but that's just personal preference and nothing to do with this set. It does take a while to arrive but it is coming from India - which I hadn't realized - and is well worth the wait.
