Gained about 10-12% MPG in my semi truck and it's incredibly smooth and quiet now. High highly impressed with the reduction in wear metals in the oil analysis as well!! I have since treated our Reefer Units, Axles, Hubs, slack adjusters, Kingpins and Transmissions. The results have been incredible. Militec is the gold standard for firearms lubrication. I can't say I've verified the claims about it becoming embedded in the metal, or bonding to the surface when heated to high temperatures. All I can say is that, under normal firearms use, it works very well. Plus, the company is solid and very military-friendly.

Cleans firearms from dirt, powder residue and other debris from the firearm. A little goes a long way.

Used this for guns. Came with one of my duty guns and was used by them, so I tried it for myself. Works anywhere you want to use oil, but it’s also a metal conditioner so you’ll notice it leaves the items slick once used in a heated item, like on a gun barrel. Would recommend to anyone who needs finer oil for critical applications, or day to day things. Can be used in an engine though I’ve never used it for that.

My mechanic recommended this stuff. Before using this, I would have to add a quart to get to 5000 miles and at oil change it was low nearly another quart. After adding this to an oil change, I now no longer need to add any, and at 5000 miles the drop on the dipstick is from the top of the range to the bottom of the range - and is not low at 5000 miles. Mechanic says this will stop any further wear on metal surfaces. He says it is important if any parts ever need machining that you tell them this product has been used, because it will be much more difficult to machine any part after using this stuff.

Honestly, best stuff out there for your gun. I was first introduced to Military-1when i was in the Army. I didn’t come to really appreciate the stuff however until I was working law enforcement in the desert Southwest - that is where this stuff really shines. Liquid lubricants gum up and attract dust and sand in a desert environment, causing failures. The Militec-1 can run essentially dry. Apply the product to you weapon like you would regularly lube your weapon. After application heat the weapon up to operating temperature (say 250-300 degrees F) and once it cools, wipe off the excess, reassemble you weapon and carry on. Apply a drop or two of Militec-1 after cleaning or periodically as needed. You’ll be good to go.
