Ocean Mist&Sea Salt Reed Diffuser Refill – 6.76 fl oz – Premium Scented Oil for Home Aromatherapy – Long-Lasting Fragrance for Reed Diffusers – Perfect for Bathroom, Bedroom & Home Decor

Inexpensive compared to other brands

I needed a refill for the diffuser in my bedroom and picked this white jasmine option from Airkeep based on the scent description. The 6.76 fl oz (200ml) bottle comes in a clear plastic container that looks clean and modern on a nightstand or shelf. The cap and seal were secure with no leaking during shipping, which is always a concern with liquid fragrance products. Once I poured the oil into my diffuser, the scent started dispersing within the first hour. The white jasmine fragrance is undeniably sweet and intense. It fills a medium sized bedroom without needing many reeds, so I would suggest starting with fewer and adding more only if you want a stronger throw. My main observation is that this leans heavily toward a synthetic perfume quality rather than a fresh, natural floral scent. If you are expecting something that smells like actual jasmine blossoms in a garden, this will feel different. It is closer to a bold fragrance you might find in a body spray or candle shop. That said, the scent throw is consistent and it does last. After a couple of weeks the intensity has not noticeably faded, which is a plus for the price. On the pro side, the packaging is attractive, the seal is reliable, and the longevity is ok. On the con side, the fragrance profile is more artificial than the listing suggests. This is a good fit for anyone who enjoys strong, sweet, perfume forward florals in their living space. If you prefer subtle or true to nature scents, this one may be too strong.

This reed diffuser oil refill from Airkeep is a quality, well priced option with a fairly mild scent. It's not the strongest scent, but it makes for a good base to those that like to mix it up. On its own, it's a great start for your room or bathroom, with a relaxing tone similar to a day at the beach. Add a little coconut or sandalwood scent to it, and you'll no doubt be able to close your eyes and put your toes in the sand. In all, this is a simple reed diffuser refill base that benefits greatly from adding additional scents, but does just fine by itself. Get creative if you must, make sure you let it soak for more than 36-48hrs before determining it efficacy, and replace your reeds if they have previously soaked up other oil for best results. It should last you awhile, and at this price, that only adds to the value.

This diffuser refill is just OK. To get to its actual performance... Not as good as some of the refills I've tried, even the really cheap ones. I mean, I can smell it, but it's very weak. So, that's disappointing. The scent itself is meh. I selected 'ocean mist and sea salt' and wish I had picked something else. When I got a whiff of it from the bottle, I thought it was overpowering and somewhat unpleasant. I still agree with my original thought about it being unpleasant, but it's not nearly as strong/overpowering when used in a reed diffuser. As I mentioned earlier, it's weak. The bottle came sealed and is presented beautifully. And it's generously sized. But I'm not a fan. This is more of a personal preference, though, and not the be-all, end-all of opinions. ^.^

This is a pretty good sized bottle and, as a scented oil, will last a long time. I appreciate the bottle comes well sealed to prevent spills while in transport. The bottle itself is the perfect size for reed diffusers, so I just stuck them straight into the bottle. The scent is somewhat crisp and clean. I got the Ocean Mist and Sea Salt and while I wouldn't exactly say it smells like a day at the beach, it does smell like what I'd expect a laundry detergent or other aromatic substance with an "ocean" scent to smell like. When I first opened it I thought it might end up being strong, but with 3 reeds I feel like it's just enough for a very subtle scent in a smaller space like a bathroom. For something larger like a bedroom, I'd definitely need to add additional reeds to diffuse more scent into the air. As it stands, the weaker output helps to avoid a cloying smell. At $9.99 a bottle, I think this offers a pretty good value for 6.76 ounces when you consider just how much other oils cost. While not my absolute favorite scent, I like it enough for the smaller amounts of time I spend in the space where it sits and affects the air. For larger spaces, this may not be the right choice.

I have been topping off my reed diffuser in the bathroom with this refill and it brings a crisp breezy vibe that instantly makes the space feel cleaner and more inviting like a quick escape to the coast. The scent unfolds slowly with light marine notes blending into a subtle salty freshness that lingers softly without overwhelming the room or fading too fast even in a smaller area. It soaks into the reeds evenly keeping the fragrance steady for weeks and I notice it pairs well with open windows on mild days letting a hint of outdoor air mix in naturally. What I appreciate most is how it avoids that heavy artificial perfume feel staying airy and calming perfect for unwinding after work or freshening up before guests arrive. The bottle pours cleanly without dripping and fits right back into my existing setup making upkeep simple and mess free. After using half the bottle now the aroma still comes through strong and true transforming everyday spots into something a little more serene effortlessly.
