The Human Body in Health and Illness

I liked the content of the book, but the used copy I received is very marked up. I guess you get what you pay for, but it is pretty bad.

I'm SO HAPPY, I repeat...SO HAPPY that this valuable book was FINALLY available for my kindle apps on my iPhone 6 Plus and iPads. Had I had this book while in nursing school, not only would I have aced anatomy, but I would have UNDERSTOOD IT!!! I obtained this book two years after graduating and, believe it or not, for the FIRST TIME, I comprehended rather than parroted a bunch of CRAP.I kept looking to see if this book was available for Kindle, and by a stroke of luck, today, I sawthat it was. I had just enough on my gift card, and even though I could have waited, I did not care. Now, I can refer to this at any given moment on my huge 6 Plus screen at work, or, on my iPad. Way to go, Amazon, and THANK YOU BARBARA HERLIHY!!!

A good entry level book on anatomy and physiology. Contained within; everything you need to know about anatomy, and most of what you should know about physiology.

Loved it. I needed this book for a college course, but I must say this book is well written and easily explained more than any other Anatomy & Physiology text book I've read. Great illustrations. And it's cheaper on here than on a college campus or other college textbook sites!!

I have Kindle Edition and very happy with this book. The way it was written is just amazing, thanks to Author for making that so easy for comprehention. Well systemized, very helpful pictures, diagrams and summary at the end of chapter make material easy to learn. Highly recommended.

Straight-forward, doesn't go into an insane amount of detail, but good enough for college-level I would say. It's so rare to come across textbooks that just say what they mean in language you can understand - so many textbook authors feel the need to "sound smart" and write in a way that is totally inaccessible to their potential audience and are frankly boring. This book is refreshing and easy to learn out of.

Great textbook, always better to buy textbooks through Amazon.Check if your campus bookstore price matches with Amazon, hence why I bought this.Overall, this was for a Biology course.Easy to read, full of concepts in 'easy to understand language' with lots of diagrams and end of chapter reviews.
