Trophy Ridge Alpha React 1 Pin Sight .019, Black

Sight works great! Instillation was super easy and sighting in was no problem! Only bad was that it doesn’t come with any instructions and the batteries in the sight were dead when it arrived. Despite those two negatives I would recommend this sight!

Wanted a new sight and after reading a few reviews for the Alpha I decided to go for it. Very glad I did, meets every expectation that I had when buying another trophy ridge product. The set up is extremely easy, I set my 20 yd pin and then the 40 and everything else is dead on. The sight is sturdy and well made, the fit is excellent and the finish is a smooth matte black. The pin is very bright even without the light, the attached picture is from the shade at around 7am.

I really like the sight, but the first thing you need to know is if you do not have a fast shooting bow the react may not dial in all of your yardage shots. The second problem is with the light, like other people have stated it doesn’t work. I thought it just needed new batteries but after buying several from Amazon it still doesn’t work! Thirdly there are no instructions, if you’re half intelligent you can figure it out. Start on Utube.other than that I love the sight, but wish I would have spent a few more dollars and bought the alpha react 1 pro. The A frame pin is great can’t wait for my new light to arrive. Overall happy. I have this sight all sighted in and tuned it’s great my three arrow groups are in a 2 to 3 inch group from twenty to thirty yards!! That’s really good for me @ 72!! Now we’ll see how long it lasts?

I purchased this sight for target archery. It has most of the features I want but it does not have micro adjust clicks and direction indication for the micro adjustments. Other than that it is really really nice! I wish Trophy Ridge would make a target version of the sight with micro adjust clicks even on the elevation. It would be great for unknown distance archery.

The install was easy, I have not sighted in yet. I was disappointed that the click light did not work for very long. I believe the batteries are dead. I will update after sighting in.

After having shot a 4-5 pin sight for the past 8 years I decided to give this single pin a try. My problem with multi pin sights was that my sight picture always felt too cluttered especially at 30 & 50 yards. I was able a little nervous about using this sight because there isn’t a whole lot of information out there on how to sight it it. I’m here to tell you that this is the simplest and fastest sight I have ever dialed in. I started at 20 yards and after using the micro adjust feature I was breaking knock within five minutes. After I was on at 20 I moved to 30. Again dead on with arrows touching in a 2 inch group. At 40 yards is where I was extremely impressed. My first group at forty yards was the best group I’ve ever shot at that distance. Five arrows within a 2 inch circle on the target. Now I’m not saying that if you buy this sight you’ll be shooting apples off your buddies head at 60 yards because the bow and the shooter play a more important role in accuracy. However, a single pin sight will greatly improve your pin point accuracy right off the bat. So to sum this up…get dialed at 20 and use the wheel move your sight as you walk back in 10 yard increments and you’ll be dead on. One last thing if you are worried about using an adjustable single pin for hunting…don’t be. My 20 yard pin setting is hitting within a inch at 30 yards. Hope this helped.

The end product after I was finished adjusting it is awesome. But, i am disappointed with the lack of instructions that come with the product. I had a hard time figuring out how to sight this in. It isn’t nearly as simple as the description makes it seem; at least for me. I am no bow expert, in fact, I am a beginner now hunter but I feel that there will be more people that buy this product that are like me. I still am not exactly sure how to use the sight tapes but I just use the pins anyway. All in all, it is a great heavy duty sight but it may require more adjusting than it seems.

This sight works really well, but not as well for me as it would others. I"m shooting amateur target at age 72, and I only use a draw weight of about 52 pounds. The minimum feet per second to have the sight work best is 264, and 52 pounds doesn't quite make it to allow me to use the sight range markers past 30 yards to best advantage. I can manually adjust it out to 40-50-60 yards no problem with some test shots.....but that kind of defeats the purpose of the built-in mathematic of this nice sight. If you're not shooting a draw weight of 60+ pounds, I'd say this Trophy Ridge is too much sight for you, nice though it is.

Very happy, as advertised. Great construction. Super easy to install and dial in. I can know shoot out to distance with confidence.
