BLACKHAWK Side Hydration Pouch, Coyote Tan

This is another well made Condor product. Just right if you don't want to carry too much water in a hydration bladder. This fits nicely on the back of the Condor 215-H harness. First time I filled the bladder I had a leak at the quick-disconnect connection to the mouthpiece. Upon inspection I found a misshapen O-ring in the quick-disconnect. Called Blackhawk and they put a replacement O-ring in the mail and that fixed the leak. Not a drop since. I'm very pleased with this purchase and their service.

Good kit, wasn't so sure about the speed attachment thingies but they held well with no problems. Not too difficult to get bladder in when full but that will depend on placement on your kit I thinkAs mentioned by others the neoprene sleeve over the tube IS too short and will expose some bare tube. Fortunately my OCD is not too bad so I didn't care and have coiled paracord to protect the exposed tube.summary = good kit, long tube, no snags

Over all a very good product. Stitching seems very solid. Plenty of molle webbing. I am not a fan of the speed clips but not really worth taking a star off for it. Yes there is about 3 inches of exposed tubing just like others. The only thing I really did not like about it is the closure. I think they need to include a picture of the bladder. If they had done this I probably would not have ordered it. I do not like the screw closure bladders. Hard to clean, hard to dry, and hard to get all of the air out of it. I prefer Hydrapaks's closure system. The tubing connects easy and well to the bladder though. I suggest using a food grade grease to keep them from sticking though. Bladder welding is nice and appears like it should last. All of the cons of the bladder were not enough to deduct a star. The reason for one start deduction is the price. For what you get size wise it does not fit the price at all. I have bought 3 liter bladders with a carrier for $80 with equal quality. Only reason I bought it was lack of options. It fits nicely on my body armor with plenty of room for my aid bag below it.

Excellent product, much better than wearing a camelbak on your back. Especially useful when you want to carry a backpack or ruck and don't want a camelbak on your back getting in the way. Highly recommend to all of my infantry kin.

The neoprene hose cover is shorter than the hose. It makes no sense. But it holds water and you can drink from it. 6/10 would prefer to buy another manufactures item.
