Kilner Round Clip Top Jar, 500 ml

So i will keep it short: Glass quality is good, atleast 4 - 5 mm, locking mechanism is vey decent looks durable. Jar is perfectly air tight since the rubber to hold it is again does what its supposed to do, size is small so be mindful if you looking to stuff it up will lot of snacks, buy a bigger one. Nothing comes close to quality of Kilner-excellent air tight seal, solid glass, lovely design. The vendor did and excellent job of packaging. I ordered the same piece again from them.

Beautiful Jars best to keep cookies or pickles. I have been using it to keep pickles. Really good.

Super air tight jar and quality of the glass is excellent. Really thick glass with easy to open clip lock. Go for it, you will not regret.

Love the build quality of the jar and the locking mechanism (though the wires could have been a bit thicker). The whole set up works well and does a pretty decent job of getting an airtight seal. The cloth thing in th epicture is a bit misleading though - it's actually just paper with the pattern printed on it. looks a tad bit cheap and, needless to say, is not as useful or durable as an actual cloth would be. In any case, the suction created by the lid was so strong that the paper just came off the fourth time I opened the jar.

Absolutely love it! I have used to it to store Homemade mayonnaise and love using the jar. I already use one bigger jar for keeping salt.

These jars are very well made and won't dissapoint. The best thing is the wires that close and lock the lid is not a cheap piece of wire like others. These seal very good. I've bought other jars but had to send them back because they did not lock very well. Even the gasket on the lid is. very well made. You can buy with confidence with Kilner.

I don't know anything about pickling or preserving but this is a very. very nice looking jar and it has a fantastic seal that would be perfect for those things. The clip is very sturdy, the jar itself too. It's a quality item for a bargain price. I actually bought this entirely by mistake. I meant to get the smallest one and ended up buying the 0.5 litre one. Even had I got the one I thought I was buying it wasn't what I wanted but I was desperate to fill my £20 requirement for free delivery and I had been looking for hours. So my brain failed to read all the details. None of that is the fault of the seller- nor is a fault with the jar- so I have given it 5 stars. Had I meant to buy a jar of this kind and size I would be very, very happy with it so I can't see how I can down-rate it over my stupidity. I will use it, and may even buy more because for what it is I think the price is a bargain. And it's a jar; I can find many uses for it.
