What is the point of having two speakers if you can use both at the same time.

I bought this for my teen. It's great for sound. I wish I could turn it off. I was hoping it would be cheap enough. It's loud. Do not buy this for a teen if they have awful taste in music. And unfortunately the battery last pretty long too. So waiting for it to time out is not an option. I might buy one for myself.

The speakers work great individually, but don’t play at the same time. Each half also needs to be charged separately. It’s more like buying two speakers than it is buying one that splits.

This is a great speaker that sounds decent with awesome lights and versatility. The sound is good but it's lacking the deep, rich bass you get from higher end brands. This basically is a set of two rechargeable Bluetooth speakers that connect together for stereo play and held together via magnets. It comes with 1 USB charging cable yet each speaker needs to be charged separately so you will need another USBc cable to charge each at the same time. I'm wondering why they just didn't add connector to them so they can both charge off of the same power source? I took one star off for this reason as well as the less than luster bass/ low end frequency response. The look is great and having stereo sound again reminded me of what I was missing since Bluetooth speaker have come on the market. The lights are awesome and these actually work perfectly with my laptop and look great on my desk. I have them each wired up to their own USB power source. The battery life is about average 4-6hrs. of play at mid to higher volume levels. The lower price tag makes it a good value for the money regardless of it's shortfalls. I will update this review if there are any defects the consumer would want to be aware of prior to purchasing. For now I recommend as most should really love this speaker(s). To pair you just select it and pair. One will connect to your device and the other will too when you press and hold down the stereo link button. This allows the speaker that's paired to connect to the other speaker and send it half of the audio(R or L).
