Not a Great Book, But it IS a Great Reference
Don't buy this book to read cover to cover. Buy it to frequently flip through as a reference and idea generator.Oh, and when I say it's not a great book, that doesn't mean it's a bad book. It's actually pretty good, even as a read-through. But it's much better as a reference, IMO.

Good read. Not great, but could be.
A good start. Would have gone into greater detail if I were the author, but this book should serve many a college student well. Seasoned advertising creatives can get high on this book as well, but they will need some extra references to make the most of it. Nearly all the examples in the book can be found in other tomes on the subject (such as Hey, Whipple! and Advertising Concept & Copy).

Brainstorming Tool
If you are in a creative field and need inspiration, buy this. Ovesized, lots of pictures, great for getting your creative juices going. I bought two ββΒ one for home and one for the office.
