This must be a knock off mill! The silver paint came off on my food! And my peas (Pre-cooked) came out black with what I think it is rust from the grinder when the silver paint shed. I just used this mill once and it is not made well, my mill that I had for 20+ years finally wore down and I bought this in place and was all excited to finally use for the first time. What a horrible experience! I had to dump my peas. I will be seeking a refund.

No instructions, but it’s easy to figure out. Mount the bottom stand part before attaching the rest or it will be too heavy and hard to hold while attaching. It does not stay in place if just clamped to the table. There are holes to indicate it can be screwed in so I’m going use a steel plated mount and attach it with screws. I’m betting it will be fully stable. Works like a charm of you can hold it steady.

I was so excited to receive this but that excitement died almost instantly touching it. The wooden handle had splinters and gouges and the metal parts not only didn't fit together, metal shards were sticking off it and embedded in my hand. I will not be keeping this flim flam of an item. If I managed to grind anything with it I would be worried about metal contamination. I got what I paid for......there wasn't even a booklet included or directions on the box it came in, which was all beat up looking and holes where the parts from the grinder poked thru. JUNK

I've seen some bad reviews on this product, but I feel it is a good value for the price. It works perfectly.

The end where the grinder adjuster on the moving shaft was like a split where both sides were slightly offset. This mad the end out of round and would not allow the grinder adjuster bracket to slip over the shaft. I had to take a grinder and shape the end to be round and not oblong so that the adjuster bracket could fit over the shaft.I would not purchase this product again.

We operated the mechanism on a letter sized piece of paper and were able to pass a magnet under the paper that gathered up the metal shavings and move them around the page.This experiment was conducted after biting into something hard and gritty embedded in the food.If you suspect you are in danger of intestinal issues from this. Seek medical attention immediately.Public beware

The top bowl part does not fit properly on the grinder part. So the oats spill out
