BIGTEDDY - 12pcs Corner Brace Joint Right Angle L Bracket Stainless Steel Shelf Support Fastener with Hardware Screws

I got these to lift up a sagging balcony railing on the second floor. The old assembly was just one giant nail driven at an angle, which corroded, letting the rail sag. The screws included here are way too small for such work, so I substituted #12 by inch and a quarter screws (available here). That got the job done. It wasn't easy, since the brackets are a little short, which makes turning a screwdriver very hard in tight corners. Still, mission accomplished, and I can recommend them.

Overall these are great. Strong, sturdy, and easy on the eyes. The screws heads are soft and strip out pretty easy as I drove them into predrilled holes in plywood. Even if the screws are lined up perfectly, they don't sit perfectly flush with the bracket. Not a huge deal for what I used them for, but worth noting. It is nice to have screws included though so you don't have to go searching for a fastener to match.These come with a blue film on them to protect them from scratches, which is nice, but the film is a huge pain to get off. Film doesn't come off in one continuous peel. Instead it breaks. I had to rub it off with my thumb. it took about as long to peel off the film as it did to install the bracket making install take a lot longer.Overall these did the job and I have no worries they will hold together well. The soft screws and the film - I might look for other brackets in the future.

Perfect for what I’m using them for. If you’re looking for post quality, this might not be for you. If you need strong brackets that function and look decent, these are them.

The brackets are well made but unfortunately, they come with zinc screws which will quickly rust in the weather. I bought stainless steel brackets instead of plain steel brackets because I needed protection against the weather for my project. I now have to go buy a box of stainless steel screws at an added expense.

Several of the included screws broke very easily when screwing into pine. I switched out to screws purchased at hardware store. The brackets seem fine. They came with a thin blue protective film which I found difficult to remove cleanly.

Exactly as described. They seems sturdy and solid, screw are included (too large for us, but it is a plus). Very happy with this set.

There is nothing wrong with the quality of the bracket itself, It is quite sturdy.... But wow, those screws are weak. The heads keep breaking off. This will cause you grief. I warned you. :)

Not a single bracket was at a true 90 degree.. ah well Amazon strikes again

These exceeded my expectation. I have an old day bed that’s slowly falling apart. I got these to shore up some of the joints that were failing. I have several left over in my toolbox now that I’m sure I’ll find use for.
