Delighted
I have never seen this product in an 8 oz size only 4 ozs. I couldn’t believe it. This product works better than most straightening serums and oils for non permed kinky hair. It’s been out for decades I promise its the go to and get to the point product.

Best Hair Press Creme
Same as I used in the 70s. Great creme and moisturizes. Back to pressing hair as can't afford relaxers. Hair coming back thicker and I've always loved Ultra Sheen. Thank you shipper .. came fast. Very happy.

Not the formula I remember from my youth
African American, natural 3c/4a, coarse, low porosity, dense, dry. Never intended to use it for pressing or heat treating, the idea was grease sealant. When I was younger be accident (so-to-speak) I realized that creme satin press was really good for keeping my hair soft, shiny and tangle-free even when I used it without applying heat, so I decided to go back to it.This isn't bad but it's not what I used to use and that's obvious from opening the jar; the look and smell were nothing like what I remember. And when I went to apply it, the texture isn't the same either. It's much lighter weight than back in the 70s. My hair sucks this up quick...it doesn't stay with me very long.I can't speak to how well it protects against heat but I'd have a hard time thinking it'd be as efficient as it was when it was a thicker formula. It doesn't suck for the purpose I got it but for 10 bucks for an 8oz jar, I will probably just get some blue magic or something far cheaper for far more next time.

Old school Black mom hair
I bought this for my mom so here is her review. She is in her late 60s and uses a pressing comb on the stove (which is as old as me, late 20s): “They changed the recipe from when I used it growing up. It still works well but is more creamy than it used to be, like a butter. Remember, a little goes a long way.
