It was okay, I thought I would use it more but it doesn’t really help that much. Gloves are good. I could see where you would want this stuff but I say just get a good brush.

It worked perfectly for the eaves in the front of our home. It made short work of a big job.

Cheap and doesn’t work well

After finishing multiple rooms with it, I can honestly say this kit made edging and detail painting much easier than I expected, especially for someone who isn’t a professional painter but still wants clean-looking results. Right away, I appreciated how complete the kit felt. Instead of buying separate edging tools, trays, and refill pads individually, everything needed for the project was included in one organized set. The 9-inch paint trim edger was the main reason I bought the kit, and it ended up being extremely useful around ceiling lines and door frames. The 360-degree rotating handle made it much easier to reach awkward angles without constantly twisting my wrist or repositioning ladders. I especially noticed the difference while painting near stair corners and high trim areas where a regular brush usually leaves uneven lines. The edger glided smoothly along the surface and helped create surprisingly clean edges with much less effort than taping everything off manually. I also found the V-corner painter pad very helpful for tight corners and detailed areas that rollers can’t reach properly. It allowed me to get into edges around window trim and cabinets without leaving heavy brush marks. The small detail pad worked well for touch-ups and narrow spaces, and having multiple refill pads included saved time because I could swap them out quickly during longer painting sessions instead of constantly stopping to clean tools. Another feature I appreciated was the spill-proof tray design. Painting projects can get messy fast, but the trays helped keep paint contained and easier to manage while moving around the room. The included rubber gloves were also a nice touch and helped reduce cleanup afterward. What impressed me most overall was how much time the kit saved. While no edging tool completely replaces patience and careful painting, this set definitely reduced the amount of taping and brush correction work I normally deal with. The tools felt lightweight but durable enough for repeated use, and cleanup afterward was fairly simple.
