Set your navigation and go. Functional, versatile, and packed with features, the Pathsetter collection has everything you need to get you there. Itโs the ultimate travel collection โ getting out the door has never been easier! Review: Buen producto - Buen producto por el momento, medidas y calidad de material. Esperemos es duradero como se espera Review: Nice layout and storage but not the quality I expect from High Sierra - I was a big fan of my previous 29-inch rolling duffle (Samsonite) but found it a bit too large, leading me to constantly overpack and make it unbearably heavy. When searching for a replacement, I wanted something slightly smaller yet still rich in pockets and compartments, and this High Sierra Pathsetter Medium Rolling Duffle fits that functional need well. It offers exceptional organization, starting with a large top section that is separated from the main area but can be opened via a zipper for full-compartment access if needed. I appreciate the dedicated zippered compartment on the right side of the top, which I've been using effectively for swimwear or shoes, and a smaller zippered pocket in the middle for easy access to essentials like chargers or earbuds. The main compartment itself is spacious and includes basic cinching snaps, while a mesh zippered area under the lid was perfect for organizing my undergarments and socks. However, my enthusiasm for the organization is tempered by concerns about the expected High Sierra quality. I have a High Sierra backpack from 2015 that remains the most durable bag I've ever owned, and this duffle simply doesn't convey that same level of quality. The materials should feel stronger to withstand the rigors of travel, but the lining is noticeably a step down from what the brand used to use. Furthermore, the pull-out handle feels a bit shaky, and the zippers are somewhat sticky and not as smooth as I would expect from a premium-priced brand. I'm also confused by a large velcro-fabric section on the top that seems purposeless to me. While the duffle is functional with its decent storage, I worry that High Sierra has scaled back on the durability that used to define their brand. Overall, it's a solid duffle in terms of pockets and space, but I do have genuine reservations about its long-term longevity.

Good value, good quality, can be used as a carrying or rolling duffle bag.
This is a good value for a very good quality rolling duffle style luggage bag. It can be used as a carrying duffle bag or as a rolling duffle bag with the handle extended. Note that this is not a hardshell hard luggage bag. There is a harder area on the base under the fabric (where you set your clothing) but most of the bag is a soft fabric thatโs not structured. The material is sturdy and a good weight. It can also be used as a carrying duffle bag with the bag rolling handle retracted inward. There is a small carrying handle on the top (like a backpack handle) and two carrying straps on the back to carry it like a duffle. The straps are short like a duffle vs shoulder strap and do have a Velcro loop pad holder to hold the handle straps together. It has a zipper closure for the main compartment and the outer compartments. The zippers are sturdy, well sewn in, work well and have good pull loops on them. The inside of the bag is a lighter contrast fabric thatโs softer in a soft gray tone. Itโs soft, durable and should easily wipe clean. The bag also has several outside compartments as well as the main inner one. There are elastic strap loops on the outside that stretch to hold small items (see the listing pictures). The bag has wheels so that you can roll it and use it like a standard rolling trolley suitcase bag. The wheels roll well and easily and work well. I would suggest getting some luggage cubes (not included) to use with the bag. They are soft, zippable bags to hold and sometimes compress your clothing. It makes it easier to separate items and utilize the space better. I would also suggest getting an additional โtrolleyโ strap or โtrolley strapโ bag to put on the handle for use when the handle is fully upward and extended. This gives you an extra bag to use or you can use a โtrolley bag strapโ with a standard bag (no strap or extra bag included). Be sure and check with your travel provider that the bag will meet the checked or carry on bag size. Youโll want to check the height, width, depth and weight limit. Itโs considered a medium size bag overall, but your travel provider may have a different size limit. I did notice a faint but noticeable odor to the bag that seems to be common for neoprene items (bags, pouches, braces). The bag does have some neoprene areas and trim along with the fabric. The odor was faint and not as strong as some neoprene items can be. It was less strong and unpleasant than some neoprene odors. I am sensitive to scents so I left the bag open, unzipped and let it air out a few days and it was fine. I found that after I aired it out, re-zipped it, it didnโt have a noticeable odor or add any noticeable odor to my closet when I put it up in my closet. If you are sensitive to scents, air out it before use. If you are extremely sensitive to scents, it may not be a bag youโll tolerate as you air it out. Note that the bag does not fold totally flat as it does have some structure to some parts of the bag at the base. Some bags fold fully and are fully unstructured. This one has a base like a suitcase hard base. Think of it is the part of a suitcase you put your items in vs the top vs a lower base. The top part (compared to a suitcase) is soft, a bit floppy and can be folded down some for storage. But it is not overall a foldable bag. It does take up less room in a closet than a hardshell or more structured bag due to this. You can store other travel items or bags in it when not in use or to have it ready for your next trip. No luggage tags or bag locks come with the bag.

Large bag, good quality, & lots of room for storing stuff
I think this is priced very fairly for the materials and overall construction. It's a well-designed bag and it's got a lot of features that appeal to me... but it is on the larger size of things. I don't fly often but this is significantly larger in both length and depth than my normal rolling carry-on. (I ordered the medium size for reference) Feature-wise this bag has a lot of things going for it and it makes an excellent car trip luggage. All of the friction parts on the bag are made with a nice heavy plastic bumper that's adhered well to the frame of the bag. It's got a bumper on the back that makes sliding it into a car or off of a ledge when it's full much easier. The wheels are roller blade style and feel like good quality. They roll smoothly. The MOLLE panel on the front is a super convenient way to expand storage or add accessories. This is really handy for me in my car as I already use the MOLLE system for other attachments and pouches. I also really like the layout of the pockets. This bag has two main compartments which makes it really easy to separate clean and dirty or give you a spot for something bulky like coats and outerwear while keeping your day clothes nice and organized. Materials are the one critique I have for this bag, but at this price point I think it is constructed pretty well. The outer shell of the bag is made of a decent quality nylon or Condora. Compared to some of my really heavy-duty commercial bags, it's a much lighter material but it's definitely better than a lot of the backpacks that I've used. I'm not worried about this material ripping or wearing down, but because of the lack of structure on the outside of the bag, it does feel a little bit lightweight compared to canvas or really heavy Condora bags that you might have experienced. The liner on the inside surprised me also. It's got kind of a crinkly texture to it and it's a little bit loose on the bottom. All of the stitching is double-stitched except for a couple of spots on the liner on the inside which are only single-stitched. The liner feels a little bit more economical in my hands compared to other luggages that I've used. But again, I think comparing the price point to overall quality, this is still a good deal. I would recommend this bag to a family member or friend, and I think it's worth buying if you like the design.

Multi Purpose Duffie for Anyone on the Go
Good travel bag that works a duffel as well. Lots of room, features and compartments for anyone on the go. Use it upright with the pull out handle. Has wheels that roll smooth or grab it laying flat handles there too. It is made with durable, fairly thick poly material and can withstand being tossed around. All the zippers worked, sewn well with double stitching in stress point and constructed good. Great bag for vacations, gym equipment, camping, hiking and more. The black is a good color to not show staining. Was easy to spot clean and wipe down after use. A bit expensive imo but an investment that will last a long time. Would have liked to show pics but the kid grabbed it and took off to Alaska with it lol and loving it.

Duffle is Large
The High Sierra Pathsetter Duffle is very impressive. In my mind it is a Large Duffle, not a Medium Duffle. The reason why is because of how much it can hold in addition to it being too large to be considered eligible carry-on baggage if flying. However, if you donโt mind checking your bag and/or you just need a good size duffle bag when driving or even camping this should meet your needs. The material is heavy duty and excellent quality. The zippers are two-way and also heavy duty. The sewing/seams are all excellent quality. Other than the qualify of the bag itself, there are many more reasons to buy this bag: you can stuff a lot of stuff into it, it has a top open section that is usable to pack just about anything, the bag has a hard case on one side โ it is the back side of the bag when it is standing up or rolling it and is the bottom of the bag when laying it on a surface. This hard side helps protect any items that are packed in the bag. Below the large duffle section is another zippered area which has two sections to pack your clothes, and it will hold a lot and will keep everything nice and folded the way you initially packed everything. There are also two other outside pockets, both appear to be waterproof or at least very water resistant with one large enough to pack shoes away from your other items. In addition, the bag has 4 cinch straps, which can tighten around the soft section, and will keep all items in place. It is a high-quality sturdy bag that should last forever. I just would not characterize this as a โmedium duffleโ, the hard section is 29โ long and therefore cannot be squeezed smaller like many other types of duffle bags. This bag is more of a duffle/suitcase combo bag. So, as long as youโre okay with it being fairly large, in size and capacity, I think youโll be happy with this purchase. Hope this helps and Happy Travels!!

My new favorite bag
This bag is amazing. I lost count at the number of compartments to store and separate so many different travel items. It's relatively light-weight, but the wheels make it super easy to move. The stitching was fantastic (no loose threads anywhere), and the quality is just top-notch. The sheer volume that this bag can hold is enough for me alone, but the quality just puts it over the top. Overall, I am super happy with this bag and would certainly recommend it.

Trade-Offs
This duffle is a hybrid of a conventional duffel and a wheeled hard case. It has advantages and disadvantages of each. I've often used a duffel as a carry-on. Even a fairly large duffle can normally be squished into the available space in an overhead bin. This one, having a frame, cannot get smaller in length or width. So, my medium sized (29" long) bag will always have to be checked. My regular duffels have to be carried in hand or on my back. This one rolls, which is nice if you have a large airport to navigate. One advantage it has over a hard case is that it can be stored in a smaller space (e.g., under a bed) when empty. Another is that the upper compartment has compression straps, which keeps the items inside from moving around in transit. The disadvantage of any soft bag, of course, is that it provides less protection for breakable items - which is especially an issue when checking the bag. That said, this is a well-designed and well-made bag. The drop bottom compartment is good for clothing that you'd like to carry folded, to avoid wrinklig. It's cool that, when opened up, you have access to both the drop bottom and the main compartment via a zippered opening (see photos). The construction is tough, with thick outer fabric, and heavy-duty zippers. The silver-grey lining makes it easy to find things even in low light. The separate shoe compartment is nicer to use than sticking your shoes in a plastic bag. The wheels and telescoping handle are strong. The attachment hooks on the top may come in handy in if you have smaller items you need to keep handy while traversing the airport. The only improvement I would suggest would be adding provision for shoulder straps so that it could be carried when you have to traverse rough ground, steps, etc. Overall, if you understand the trade-offs, I think this bag can serve you well, and is a reasonable value.

Great, but...
Great bag! The only thing is the zippers don't fit locks if you decide to use as a checked bag.

Love it
Great quality bag. More on the expensive side but well worth the extra money. Highly recommend. Could use more storage pockets to stay organized but otherwise a good suitcase.
