It is what it is.
It is what it is. I'm using it after moving to Cairo and it's a handy place to find how to say things. Obviously--although not obvious to many--you'll need a native person who can teach you pronunciation. This morning, for example, I realized that I'd forgotten my numbers, and looked up page 201 and got a quick review. It's not a complete course. It won't help you translate letters from a friend--but I have no idea why someone thought it could. But it'll get you by until you can have more complete lessons

Good information.
Good in information but not consistent. There are several arabic dialects and all have slang terminology. They can understand you but you cant understand them. Ive been practicing speaking with my egyptian friend. I used duolingo for traditional arabic, this books, arabic alphabet course and a few other tools. Testing it out January 31-Feb 14 2020.This book has history, phrases and other good information.
