Love it. I finally have a book I can read in Hawaiian. It helps me to keep up and maintain my hawaiian language especially since I live where no one speaks or understands Hawaiian.

Great way to commemorate our honeymoon in Hawaii (I collect HP in the language of each place I visit)

This is a wonderful addition to Hawaiian language titles for young readers and those young at heart.

Mahalo to the translator and publisher of this book. While so many books are translated into so many languages around the world, there are very few popular novels being translated into Hawaiian. A solid translation like this with proper grammar and sentence structure goes a very, VERY long way towards helping the Hawaiian language become normalized again. You can stare at a dictionary your whole life but you will never learn the language without experiencing its use in the real-world. Seeing the language used in a setting with conversations, drama, excitement, and adventure is extremely valuable in helping people learn this language, especially because there are so few people to talk to and practice with otherwise.About the book itself, the quality is great and it feels as sturdy as any other book I've read. I would have liked a hard cover because this book is so valuable to me compared to all my others, and I worry about it getting damaged. During the first chapter there is a portion of the book which appears much lighter in font weight than everything else, but it's not a big deal. Seriously well done. The translation is incredible and so much attention to detail was put into this book. It's absolutely worth it 10x over. Looking forward to reading the other books.
