Works as should via PC to transfer music to larger SanDisk 1.5TB ultra and 2TB Extreme SD Cards.

Loving this tiny little USB 3 SanDisk Micro SD card reader. Built well & seems as tough as can be expected while remaining so small. I have no clue regards a good few negative reviews that have been left for this item... I'm thinking that the negative reviews users should have bought a far bigger Reader as moaning about its size as a bad point defeats the purpose of the item as it's obviously supposed to be small which surprise surprise it is. Other negative feedback comments claimed cards were hard to get back out once inserted & again it's size related as in of course it's going to be figity & a little effort is required to get a tiny micro sd back out once inserted into this tiny low profile reader. The thing does exactly what it's designed to do & that's read / write to Micro SD cards at full USB 3 speeds. It's exactly what I wanted as I am using it in my Car's USB HiF input loaded up with Flac files & needed something very small & low profile that I could plug in, use & basically forget about it knowing it won't get in the way by being big & sticking out etc... It reads & writes as quickly as full sized SD card USB 3 readers do but since it is so small if you're needing a reader for heavy use then I suggest you buy a larger sized 1. Summing up = Great Little USB 3 Micro SD Card reader & Ideal for users requiring something with a Low profile or / & require it for a tight space ;) Highly Recommended :)

My use I got this with the hope of using in combination with a usb-a to usb-c lead so that I could use sd-cards with my tablet. Although my tablet does have sd-card ports, my tablet is housed within a rugged case and although this is removable it takes a while to do this and I didn't want to risk cracking the case. I was unsure this would work or not but luckily it does. I use micro sd-cards plugged into an sd-card adapter that is used in a wildlife action camera in my garden. Value At £7 it seems an ok price for an official Sandisk product and because if it being more useful than what I originally thought it has enabled me to make use of my tablet a lot more than I thought - therefore I'm pleased paying this. Speed Despite having a multi-card reader on my laptop and never really having a problem with this or its speeds, I'm glad to report that this usb-a sd card reader actually transfers files faster. Build quality Quality seems fine. It's made from plastic and metal, fits into usb ports well and is Sandisk's usual high quality. Mounting Sometimes I have to unplug and replug this in the usb lead for it to work out that the sd-card has images on it as it sometimes thinks it should be charging from the usb lead. Where possible I un-mount the device by swiping from the top to view the options (as my tablet is a samsung android device). The device should always be mounted / un-mounted from the menu to avoid data problems. Normally if it says it wants to format the device it's because it hasn't been un-mounted properly as the un-mount option doesn't always appear so you just have to unplug it anyway. I ignore it and unplug it and re-plug it in or transfer files on my laptop if it still has a problem but all is generally fine. Design/Downside Although this product is really good, it's a bit hard to remove the sd-card once inserted as the card pushes right into the slot and leaves very little room to get a grab on the end of the card. You essentially need finger nails for this or a sharp object which obviously anyone should be concerned about using. The device is also very small and I wish there was an end cap to protect the usb end as well as a hole so it could be threaded on a key chain. I normally keep it plugged into my usb lead so it's less likely to get lost. Overall Despite the design problems mentioned above with having limited grip to remove the card and its small size, I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to use it for either file transfer with a laptop, or to access files for viewing on a tablet like in my case.

I love my Tesla and the built in dashcam is fantastic but it’s specs are demanding for recording. I tried a USB3 stick that seemed to have write speeds that would be sufficient for recording video clips but it wasn’t up not the job and recordings often failed. The specs for USB sticks never provide details of sustained write speeds that video recording requires. I was struggling to find a USB stick with the capacity and performance I wanted, until I flipped the problem and thought about my camera and the micro sd cards that guarantee the continuous write performance needed for video recording. The Tesla only provides a USB connection so I needed a USB adaptor. I’ve been using this adaptor with a high speed micro sd card and no longer get warnings or failed dashcam recordings

I bought this for viewing the SD card of a new DJI mini 3 Pro drone, the card fits perfectly, no issues with inserting it (you can only insert the card one side only so never worry about slotting it in the wrong way) Great little USB, perfect for what I needed. I've had no issues with it, but I will note it gets quite warm after a few minutes of transferring drone footage from the card. It arrived in a nice little box, secure and damage free (always a plus). Handy little device.

I bought this to allow easier transfer of images from my bridge camera to my PC. This is so small it fits nicely into the BLUE USB socket and I leave it in (so small I might lose it otherwise!). It transfers a few small, test video files over in less then 2 seconds with actually suprised me. NOTE: This is a USB3.0 device.. to get the speeds you MUST plug it into a USB3.0 socket which it BLUE inside, matching the device. The micro SD card was a little fiddly to remove at first though it seems to be easing up with use. If you have large fingers and no finger nails to grip the tiny edge of the card with, you may struggle to pull the card out. That aside, its all good (so far) :)

La velocidad de transferencia es consistente y es totalmente "Plug & Play": lo conectas y el equipo lo reconoce al instante sin instalar nada. ​Pros: ​Diseño minimalista: No bloquea otros puertos USB cercanos. ​Velocidad: Aprovecha bien la categoría de la tarjeta micro SD. ​Fiabilidad: No se calienta en exceso ni se desconecta durante el uso. ​Contras: ​Al ser tan pequeño, es fácil perderlo si no se tiene cuidado (recomiendo usar un cordón). ​Veredicto: Una solución perfecta y económica si tu laptop no tiene ranura para tarjetas. Muy recomendado.
