The hamburger has been frozen for 6 months upon delivery and tasted old. Was told that it is rated for 9-12 months frozen. Shoppers take notice prior to ordering.

Arrived frozen solid .... dry ice was gone but meat still brick hard ... it was over 80* the day of delivery. First impression upon cutting open a thawed package: no odor whatsoever in the package and almost zero liquid. Meat was obviously fresh. Texture was great, and I was a bit concerned because of prior reviews. Fat content seemed to be correct. Made an Italian meat sauce that was superb. Will definitely be ordering again.UPDATE 11/10/20: Just placed my second order. I’ve cooked it many ways; meatloaf, sloppy joes, chili, and burgers. Turns out great every time, and the convenience of having it delivered is icing on the cake!

The ground beef is exactly what the supplier said that it is . More taste. makes great hamburgers and meatloaf. Mixed with refried beans and flour tortillas and cheese with onions. Just the right amount of fat content for spaghetti sauce or chill Mac. Three lbs of ground beef depending how much Italian gravy you want to make. If you use large cans used 3 lb of ground beef for small cans one to one and a half pounds. two cans each diced tomatoes, tomatoe sauce, tomatoe paste,one can cream of mushroom soup basic recipe for lasagna spaghetti chili mac Italian gravy or spaghetti sauce as we call it can be used and Spice with turmeric garlic powder or fresh use liberally it's all good.

We sampled our 85% grass-fed beef and it was absolutely delicious - texture and taste both wonderful. Received the beef in a styrofoam container that kept it frozen solid - with very clear instructions included on proper thawing and cooking. We will definitely buy Meyer products again - looking forward to the steaks!

There was little to no fat left after frying the beef. Since we have purchased it, we have made enchiladas, burgers, and spaghetti. The family loved it.

I have bought this 85/15 blend before at the grocery, so I knew the product was quite good. This meat was delivered the next day, tightly sealed in a styrofoam cooler, with dry ice. The meat was solidly frozen and went right to my freezer. Purchase with confidence.
