These dates are soft, chewy, and sweet. Very fresh and an enjoyable candy from the earth!

Partly my fault, I looked at the listed price per ounce and purchased based on that instead of doing the math myself. It is wildly inaccurate. This 110g package (about 4oz) is about 4x more expensive than comparable items (16oz for $12). Not returnable/refundable since it's food. So glad I have 3 days worth of dates as I approach the end of my pregnancy 🙄

Very good very good taste

These dates are genuinely good — sweet, soft, with flavor notes that remind me of caramel and chocolate. They've got me considering swapping out candy for these entirely, partly because they're so satisfying and partly because the portion control happens naturally; you just can't eat as many as you would a handful of candy. They do have a pit, so keep that in mind when eating, and the resealable pouch is a nice practical touch for keeping them fresh between snacking. Price-wise, this feels like a luxury import, so it's more of an occasional treat or something to bring out for a special recipe rather than an everyday staple — but for that occasional indulgence, they're excellent.

The box is very small seven pieces for ten dollars is too much. And the dates are dry, not soft and fresh.

These dates are delicious. The packaging seals back nicely. They are not greasy or overly sweet. They are a little pricier, but they seem to be of nice quality. I'm enjoying these dates.

Too expensive,

I was not familiar with the Ajwa variety of dates. I love dates and have only been exposed to the Medjool variety. These dates are different in a few ways. They are dark in color, instead of golden, almost black and have a wrinkly appearance, sort of looking like a large raisin. They are round and small. Some of them still had the stems attached. When biting into them, you are not overwhelmed by an overly sweet flavor like some dates can be. These are just the right amount of sweet and they are incredibly moist. These are like an indulgent treat, you don’t need to eat more than one or two as they are really satisfying. The cost of dates are usually what prohibits me from buying them too often, and these are definitely in the pricey category. The package is 110 grams which make these dates about a dollar a piece. The package seals tight with a zipper closure so your dates will be sure to remain fresh.
