Other than looking silly on your head, the bonnet works well. It is easy to use and fit well on both my head and my hairdryer. It takes a couple of tries to fit it securely and comfortably, especially if you are using curlers or other items in your hair. Obviously it is loud during the process because of the hairdryer noise.I have fine hair but a lot of it so when using rollers it took quite a bit of time, approximately 45 min, to get mostly dry. Note that I was using the cool setting on my dryer to avoid frizz. When I tried to use the heated setting on my hairdryer, it didn't take too long to get unbearably hot and I had to go back to cool. This may have just been my hairdryer, which blows out very hot air, and not the fault of the bonnet.The bonnet comes with a storage bag which is pretty small and easy to store. I haven't traveled with it but it would not take up much room in luggage.Overall I like the bonnet, when I have time to use it, and will continue to use.

My son recent started his loc journey and I knew we needed a dryer but I didn’t want to spend an arm and a leg for a traditional hooded dryer. I came across this and couldn’t pass it up based on the price and reviews. We were not disappointed. This hooks straight up to your handheld dryer and is big enough to cover his head and hair which has grown to be pretty long. It’s perfect for traveling and can fit anywhere. It’s much easier to use than the traditional dryer and gets the job done!

The value here is not that its prefect, but its compact and highly portable. The attachment under the chin that keeps it securely on your head it not the most configurable or comfortable. The material does feel a bit cheap and it’s difficult to get a good seal around the crown of the head but it gets the job done. Which for me, is to apply heat to my deep conditioning process.

Love this product! It exceeded my expectations and I have happy frizz free bouncy curls. I tried diffusing and a hooded dryer and neither worked for me. The diffusing took forever, and it created a little too much frizz. The hooded dryer was too big and left my curls flat. This product was a game changer. Inexpensive, does not take up any space, it’s comfortable and the bonnet if very big so my hair is not squished into it. I applied gel in my hair, pinned the roots at the front, flipped my head over and put my hair into the bonnet on warm heat/ low setting. I put the hose part in the back. Twenty minutes later I took off the bonnet, put the hose in the front for 10 minutes and I was fully dry, and I had super curls. I removed the pins, left my hair in the cast and put my hair up in a pineapple for the night. Next morning I removed the scrunchy and SOTC and was very pleased with the results. Lots of defined curls, no frizz and it’s lasted for days. My hair is on the thin side and I have classic curls. I would by this product again and again.

I settled for the most part, so there are some things a potential buyer needs to be aware of. I bought this to attach to my handheld blow dryer so I wouldn’t have to pull out my big dome dryer every time I dry/deep condition my hair. The results are basically the same in terms of the amount of heat and distribution, but the snaps on the bonnet do not stay fastened when I use my handheld blow dryer on the “high” setting. The bonnet will blow right off your head if you don’t hold on to the straps. There’s also a toggle string you can use to tighten the bonnet around your head. I can never get it tight enough to keep the heat from escaping out of the bonnet and burning my neck, ears, and forehead. So I usually have to shield myself. I’ve developed a method: I use a cloth headband around my head and ears to protect them from the heat, but someone else buying this product may not want to go through all that. I just didn’t feel like shipping the thing back and having to shop around for another one. All in all, it gets the job done.

Occasionally I pin curl set my hair because I need curls for a specific event, and like today, if I’m running late, there’s no way they will dry. I bought this bonnet a year and a half ago, and only today pulled it out to use. I am in awe.Such a simple premise, and it works perfectly. I used a medium heat, and a medium speed/airflow and it got quite warm. It only took me 10 minutes to try a head full of pin curls!Make sure you snap it under your chin before you turn it on, or you might lose it. Using this makes so many things doable now where before I had to plan in advance and allocate a chunk of time.Best $10 purchase ever.

Due to severe osteoporosis and fractures in my mid and upper back, holding a hair dryer for the extended period required to dry my long hair was becoming increasingly painful. With this Bonnet Hood attachment I found an easy and cheap solution. Simple to attach when needed and roomy enough to accommodate large rollers, it has taken the strain out of keeping my hair styled. Looking good can be especially important when dealing with pain and illness, but the Bonnet also leaves hands free for writing, scrolling, keyboarding, crafts, etc. And makes quick work of drying one's hair.

This product is great for convenience and is very effective. I have very short hair, so the heat is extremely high even on yhe different blowdryer settings. I did not want to invest in an actual hooded dryer this product does a great job, and will likely be more effective on longer hair.

Used this for the first time today. I am very pleased. It comes in as all handy nylon bag. Great for easy storage taking up hardly any space at all. Will be great for holiday packing. However, the hood is easy to put on even with my big hair rollers. Love it.

This does not fit a Dyson blow dryer! And no mention of that was made on the listing. Using Canadian ingenuity, I built an adapter out of duct tape and the nylon storage bag that came in the package. (Thank you Red Green). Not pretty, but it works. I have found it dries my masses of hair quickly and easily.

Used on both my daughters curly hair to steam and dry and it worked perfectly
