Front Door Speaker Adapter Spacer Rings Fits 1993-1996 Mazda RX7 6 1/2" 6.5"- SAK068_55-1 Pair

I purchased these speaker adapters for a 1993 Mazda RX-7 that was equipped with the Bose option. The factory-equipped Bose door speakers sit in their own special housings that do not accept aftermarket speaker upgrades. These front door adapters completely replaced the original units and allowed me to use a much larger 6.5" aftermarket speaker. The units are well-constructed and have a variety of mounting holes pre-drilled so installation of my Sony speakers was a snap with the provided screws. After securing the speakers, the adapters mounted up in my doors easily and all of the mounting holes aligned perfectly. The product appears to be durable and well thought-out. I am really thankful that someone finally designed and marketed custom fit brackets for the 1993 and up RX-7!

If you're wanting to replace the factory speakers in your FD with modern 6.5" ones, these adapters take away the headache of coming up with a mounting solution. Fit perfect with no hassles, just make sure to get speakers with a fairly shallow magnet as the window glass may foul on the back of the speaker otherwise. Really glad I found these.

I was skeptical at first due to some of the reviews, however still decided to buy it. These speaker adapters fit perfectly on my 1993 Mazda Rx7 and the material is very easy to deal with. I definitively recommend it for an easy install

Great product. Made for a very easy install of an after market 6.5 speaker and allows you to run a taller speaker with out interference. I installed a set of infinity kappa coaxial without any issues.

Perfect fitment and a must have if you want to upgrade your speakers to something bigger!
