Sovereign Subjects: Indigenous sovereignty matters (Cultural Studies)

This book helped prepare me in understanding the colonization of the Australian Aboriginals. I learned that colonization has so many ugly faces and is the foundation for much of the injustices in the world.

This book is very thought provoking and gives a simple, easy to follow text on what sovereignty is and means to indigenous peoples. It is interesting to see how one word has so much power in the political field
