Off the Leash: The Secret Life of Dogs Hardcover – October 14, 2014

THIS BOOK IS REALLY HILARIOUS. BUT IT DOES HAVE SOME BATHROOM DOG CARTOONS. AND THIS IS WHY I GAVE IT FOUR STARS. AND NOT FIVE STARS. BECAUSE I THOUGHT THAT THE CARTOONS COULD HAVE BEEN A LITTLE BIT CLEANER ABOUT DOGGIES. THAT SAID, I REALLY DID ENYJOY THIS LITTE BOOK AND YOU WILL LIKE IT TOO I LIKED IT BUT I DIDN'T LOVE THE BOOK BUT I DID LIKE IT.

I have been following Off the Leash on Facebook and was glad to know I could get a compilation of the cartoons in one book -- especially since I had missed some. The book did not disappoint - it is true to life (for dog owners), funny, and well presented. I was glad to be able to get the book before it goes for sale in the U. S. Terrific service and prompt delivery from the UK vendors.Ordered two - one for my daughter - and she loves it too!

This book is SO FUNNY. Rupert Fawcett is CLEARLY a dog owner, and captures some of the purest, most hilarious parts of having a four-legged loved one. I gave this book as a gift to my Dad and it was a huge hit! I don't think there's a single cartoon in there that isn't funny/completely relatable.

I follow Off the Leash on Facebook so naturally when I heard the book was coming out I had to get it!! Will be getting a few more to give to dog loving friends/family - I must say though - I've barely been able to go through it - my 8 year old daughter has stolen the book from me!! It is now her very favourite book, goes to school with her, she reads it before going to bed, while eating her meals ... won't let me have it!!

I love Off The Leash and was thrilled to see the Kindle version and for such a low price. I'm only giving it four stars though because the strips are not very large and can't be zoomed. So my Nook shows a large white area with a two by two strip in the middle. Maybe pictures in Kindle books can't be zoomable (technical word), but couldn't they be made larger from the get go?

Off the Leash is an excellent glimpse into the life of dogs and their relationships with their pet parents. There were many instances when I felt as if the author had used my dogs as material and inspiration for the cartoons in the book. Needless to say, this caused me to chuckle with delight. I highly recommend this book for anyone who loves his or her fur-baby as much as any other family member.

I've been a fan of Off The Leash on FaceBook for a very long time. I was hopeful when I found out the toons were coming out in book form...I was NOT disappointed! Nearly every situation portrayed, I have experienced with my own dogs. This book will have you laughing, shaking your head and swearing that he's talking about your dog(s). All around great collection and worth every penny!!!

Perhaps this book of cartoons is only appreciated by dog lovers, but I would hope not. It makes for a lovely gift or something to bump up a parcel. Like most of this type of book, one can go back often as wanted to bring a smile to your face and a giggle as to how true it is of animal owners and their pets. I first saw these pages when a girlfriend started me off on their Facebook page and it certain adds a light relief to ones day when viewed. It was a super special offer from Amazon the day I purchased it so I bought two! That's how good I recon it is. Enjoy.

Lovely little book that is a "must have" gift for dog owners. It is full of those little things that only dog owners will understand, chuckle and identify with.

Checkout these cartoons online if youre not sure, but whoever writes them has a LOT of experience with dogs that are much bigger than they seem to think they are! Bought for my father, who also has large dogs, and has gone down very well.

Anyone who owns a dog (or several dogs) will appreciate the humour and witty observations. Every page makes you say "That's so true!".[NOTE: Best to read this book alone, as wife got annoyed with my constant laughing and showing her the pages...]If you're not a dog lover, then this book isn't for you -- Go buy a dog first instead.
