Plants of the Metroplex III

I enjoyed this a book so much! Lots of info for plants grown in West Texas! I loaned it to a friend to check out and I never got it back!! Sad!

This is a must have guide for planting in the Fort Worth-Dallas area. Do yourself a favor and invest in this book. It'll save you in the long run.

This book is excellent! Details on every kind of plant or shrub or tree that you can plant in the area! Complete with photos, descriptions, recommendations, and uses. Perfect companion when trying to decide on what to plant and what not to plant and when!

Easy to navigate. Broken out into clear sections.

Truth be known, I had a crush on Howard Garrett even though I never met him. I love his books. I loaned this one to my former daughter-in-law and asked her not to lose it. You know the end to that story. I had his earlier book and did my own landscaping based on his recommendations. That one got lost in a move. I am so glad to find this one again. I live in the metroplex and he is spot on with his advice and recommendations.
