TINY BUDDAH'S - Guide to Loving Yourself
This has been valuable in reinforcing that we are all unique and we have a right to be us and live and learn through life's changes along the way. I recommend it to anyone who wants to be put in touch your own uniqueness and at the same time being prepared to make challenging changes along the way which all contribute to learning, loving and growing.

Great courage brought us here
I am not fully through this book, but I have found it to be a book of powerful reminders. It is not a book full of hidden knowledge that could not be found apart from it, but it is full of reminders of the truth that only true clarity of the mind can attain. Things we intuitively know but have somehow forgotten and keep forgetting due to the struggles of life. Alan Watts once said that anyone who tells you that they can lead you to enlightenment is like someone who picks your pocket and sells you your own watch. And it is my opinion that this book doesn't try to sell you a watch, it reminds you that you already have one. The walls we build to protect ourselves from pain unfortunately keep us from accepting love. Not just the love of other people, but the love we often need the most, our own. If you have come to this review, you have been courageous, you have had something happen where you realized you felt a little insecure, and instead of blaming anyone, you decided to look for some help. If you feel like you can't just get a firm grip on your own self enough to love it, you try, but it feels like you somehow always escape your own love, I ask you to be courageous again and get the book. Life is way too short to not love yourself and this book can really help. It just takes a little bit of courage. Love you all and wish you all the best on your journey towards healing.

Educational, insightful, and inspiring
I picked up this book when I was going through a bit of a personal crisis, which caused me to realize that I had internalized and suppressed a lot of issues that I've been struggling with since childhood. So, I decided to seek some help in understanding these issues and how I could turn them around to live a happier and mentally healthier life.Without giving away too much, I struggled with a lot of the issues detailed by Ms. Deschene and the contributing readers, and saw a little bit of myself in every chapter...some more than others, of course. Reading the stories by the contributers put things into more perspective, and it made the issues described more real and relatable, so to speak. The chapters were also very well organized, with an introduction, followed by stories, and then a summary in each one. I came out of it with a better understanding of myself and why I behave and think in certain ways, and while it will take time to heal old wounds, knowing is half the battle. So many of us grow up learning to do what others want and fulfilling others' needs before our own, and present an image to the world that's vastly different from what we're really feeling, and are afraid to be real, be ourselves. I was one such person. I recommend this book to anyone struggling with any sort of self-doubt, whatsoever. After all, how can we give love to others and learn to accept others when we can't love and accept ourselves?Very well done and inspirational book, and I look forward to reading the author's other works.

Right book, outside in tact, poor selling and shipping
The outside of the book looked great surprisingly. If you looking for better packaging don’t order from here, they just just put in a plastic mailing envelope that has no bubble wrap or anything protecting the item. Opened the book and a bunch of pages were folded and pen marks inside so that’s pretty disappointing considering it was “new”. 3 stars due to all of this. I’ll keep the book but disappointed in over satisfaction.

My Favorite Book
I love this little book. It is an incredible read and helped me have so much more compassion for myself and a broader perspective for my life. I’ve read it multiple times and each time I glean something new. I’ve bought this book for a lot of friends and family as well. Highly recommend!
