Under the Dome: A Novel by Stephen King (2010-07-06)

I ordered this book and didn't receive it for weeks. I contacted the seller and they sent me a new once since I never got the original. I got it just a few days after they said they sent it. The book was in great condition, better than I thought it would be.The book itself was amazing. It is over 1,000 pages long which I thought would take me a long time to read. It is an easy read and it is intense. It is extremely hard to put the book down after you start reading a couple chapters. Stephen King really did a fantastic job with this book. I was actually sad when I had finished the book. It is definitely a book I will recommend to anyone and I would read it multiple times again.

Nothing more to say. The time it took to get it was surprisingly long considering it's Amazon. However it is one of his older works and more difficult to acquire. Overall, Amazon came thru as always.

I was skeptical at first to read this because I'd talked with a few hardcore King fans and they expressed their dislike for his new "non-horror" material. But I have to disagree with them. This book is chilling and within the first five pages (the first FIVE pages!!) you are thrust into a violent, gory world with a frightening air of mystery and even more frightening characters. He is a master storyteller, truly one of a kind, and this book is enthralling.

Bought as a gift for a friend who found part 2 in a store, not realizing it is a 2 part book. Heard good things so far.

I had no idea this book was so large. I haven't read many of Stephen King's books although I enjoy his storytelling. The book is physically of very high quality - excellent paper, great binding. I'm glad I bought it. The story is quite different from the TV series.

I was impressed by the quality considering it was used. And it was exactly what I wanted. It wasn't broken up into volumes like other vendors were selling it. Great price as well. Long live the King.

I haven't read a Stephen King book yet that was bad at all. I love his work. I have been reading it for 30 yrs. My momma got me started on it when I was 16 yrs old with Pet Sematery. I have read that one over and over and over again. Keep up the good work Mr. King!!!
