very strong and gets the job done for a good price too
i don't totally know what these are for since my husband is the one who ordered these but he said they are one of the best he has ordered and are very heavy duty

These are seriously good for strapping to rub rails on trailers and flatbeds especially when you run the chain under and position the hook so it's held onto the rail by gravity. Way more secure and durable than using the standard strap hooks. A lot less likely to come unhooked if the tension momentarily releases from the strap. Wish they cost less but they are worth it.

Heavy-duty ratchets.
Ratchets work smoothly, and the chain/hook tails are very heavy. Great!

I have only used them one time and so far I am very impressed. Very easy to use. I'll update my review after I have used them a few times. Only giving four stars right now based off of the one use. Might go up, might go down, time will tell.Edit: used them a couple more times, I love them. Easy to use, if you've ever used ratchet straps, you can use these. Upgraded to 5 stars.

Nice ratchet but a longer chain would be nice
I consider these an upgrade and really like the chain end as I feel it gives a much more secure fit when strapping things downs. While I didn't reduce any star rating, I feel that a few more inches/links on the chain end would exponentially improve this product. My personal opinion is you should be able to go completely around a stake pocket for added security, not just one side. Very difficult to do at this length.With that said, these are my go to now as they are so much better than hooks.Highly recommend.
