The ink works smooth and the e colors are vibrant they didn’t bleed. It was packaged very well nothing came broken. Happy with it will buy again.

I purchased this as a starter set for a new fountain pen collection. The ink has beautiful colors and always flows well in my pens. Very well constructed box with accurate color displayed.

I've seen these Monteverde sets before, but usually they're much more expensive. I found it here on Amazon and the price ended up coming out to five dollars per bottle, which seemed very reasonable. I like having the set with the magnetic box. It's definitely giftable, if I were giving it as a gift. The packaging was fine and everything arrived safely.

Almost every ink bottle had some leakage. Kind of disappointing for the cost. I decided to keep because of the hassle sending back and it wasn't a lot of leakage. Since all the bottles were sealed I think the manufacturer needs to do a better job on packaging.

The gift set is one I’ve had my eyes on for a while. This is the cheapest I’ve seen them (under $75). The colors are great and I literally couldn’t stand not having them at the price point they are.

Like a few other reviews, a few of the bottles had some leaking but it was limited to crud on the caps and not all over the box like some reviews.For the price, it's fine. I tried a few colors i wouldn't have at the normal price.

This was an impulse buy when I saw them on Amazon for WAY less then the major online pen retailers. I've had good luck with Monteverde inks in the past, so why not? Thus far I have only tried 2 of them (Amethyst and Erinite) the colors are very nice, and scoring 10 bottles at $5 each was a good deal. Having the come in a very nice presentation box is a bonus.

Came perfectly intact. Colors are really rich. I hope that they work well with my glass dip pen. I just could not resist the gemstone colors.

Such very, very nice ink. Note that I use coloured fountain pen inks mainly for drawing not writing, and since most inks aren't lightfast, I use them only in sketchbooks where that isn't an issue.I love water soluble inks so that I can sketch the lines with a fountain pen or dip pen, and then use a wet brush (dipped in plain water) to add interesting shading effects. The small test samples in the pic were made this way.The pic shows only a few, not the whole range of colours in the box. But in this review I'm focusing on the Amethyst, because when water's added, it separates unpredictably into pinks and blues and is quite amazingly beautiful. The purples aren't usually my first choice to work with, but this particular ink will be an exception. I love it. This is the only one in the set that behaves like this.ALL the colours are great, and well-chosen to provide a good range. I'll really enjoy using them!I have to say, the individual packaging was extreme, but at least there's no chance of receiving bottles that leaked! Once I broke into the 10 individual plastic boxes inside the black box, and cut off the 10 shrink-wrapped seals, the hard part began. Whew. The bottles were all very very very hard to open. Frustrating. I had to try multiple tactics, take breaks and I felt triumphant when they were finally all done! But I won't take off a star, because as I said, at least these inks aren't going to leak on their way to you.And I really love them.

This was a great way of having a great variety of colours available, without the expense of buying separate, single bottles. I'm very taken with the colours and the first one I tried, Olivine, worked beautifully in a fine point Lamy Al-Star. The ink flow was even, the colour dense and the drying time fast. It seems to be very well lubricated, the pen moved across a variety of papers smoothly.

The colours are excellent and flows very well in my fountain pens. Thanks to the ITF technology Monteverde used on these inks.
