Not a lot to say here... It works. I put mine into the door frame with longer screws than the OEM screws for added security/strength.

Purchased this for a window in my 100 year old house.It looked similar to others in my house so I thought it would be a good option.It arrived scuffed up. The metal material is very soft and deforms easily.The color is a bit too yellow to match any polished brass.The sliding is wonky. There’s a lot of play.I’m not extremely happy but you get what you pay for.Hoping to find a nicer version soon.If you’re restoring a historic home this is NOT FOR YOU.If you just need a simple slide latch this is a nice budget option.

Sturdy enough and easy to install. Not a lock you’ll see being used at Fort Knox…

This latch works well and looks good. The only issue I have with this is the same as every other one on the market: The "throw" length is very short. There's a built-in stop after only a fraction of an inch. I had to take it apart and remove the small piece of steel which engages the stop. I'd prefer to have one which will close across a larger gap, maybe 3/4 of an inch or even one inch, and not come loose.
