PyramexCapstone Gray Direct/Indirect Goggle with Clear Anti-Fog Dual Lens

My husband is a Chimney sweep, and frequently has all sorts of debris and small particulates flying into his face and his eyes. While he is provided with eye protection at work, it rarely seemed up to par, and junk was always slipping through and still ending up in his eyes, causing irritation. Tired of dealing with the eye irritation as well as occupational hazards, we ventured on to Amazon to buy a personal pair that would be specifically for him. Our search led us to the Pyramex product family, and we are surely happy that we picked this particular pair of goggles.There is a rubber strap that holds the goggles in place, which is pretty par for the course. However, this strap and buckle mechanism actually works. It's easy to get a snug fit, and the cushioning around the eyepiece is actually very comfortable. They are truly anti-fog, which is important in the line of chimney work - often he's out in the cold, and the heat from his face would make quite a bit of condensation on the eyepiece of the work-provided goggles. On the Pyramex goggles, the eyepiece remains fog-free, with no condensation buildup at all, either in the eyepiece itself or on the inside closest to the face.They're very easy to clean, just a simple wipe-down with a warm, damp cloth at the end of the day, and we're good to go. He's used these daily for the busy season, and there are no signs yet of warping, cracking, or product failure - these goggles are AWESOME.

I used this for commuter cycling through Colorado winters. I must say I'm impressed. The dual-lens is the critical feature I wanted, having found out the expensive way how useless are the so called "anti-fog" single-lens goggles (dangerous once fogging turns to ice). I did end up removing all vent plugs on the capstone to achieve minimal fogging, so it is not as warm on my face as my tinted ski goggle. The plastic seal is not as comfortable on my face as the foam on my ski-mask either. But for $13, I think the capstone is a bargain. (Why don't I just use my ski-goggle - it's tinted so useless cycling in the dark).

Like another reviewer, I got these goggles for playing airsoft. They worked great! They are a little big on the face, but still very comfortable. The most important thing is they did not fog up on me at all throughout a full day of playing. Just take out the little vent covers they have and you should be good to go. Mind you, I was playing in 100 degree weather too. I'm amazed at how great these goggles are for the price. If you're looking for affordable airsoft goggles, I highly recommend these.

Received the goggle and thought I'd try it out shoveling snow. Normally you don't need goggles for this, but I put them to the test. And did they FAIL. After around 10 minutes or so of light shoveling, they started to fog up. I figured that they were not venting well enough, so I wiped the inside lens off, and to my surprise, this inside lens scratches VERY EASILY! I tried to buff out the scratches, but it is now permanently scratched. Never seen this on an industrial goggle. I removed the vent covers on the top and bottom of the goggle, but this did not make any difference, still fogging. The outside temp was around 30 degrees F. Since these goggles are made with an outside and inside lens and they are marketed as anti fogging and because of this feature, I figured it was be a safe purchase. I suppose if you're just standing around and not generating any body heat on a cold day, you'll be ok, but if you're working outdoors on a cold day, like working with chain saws and cutting wood and such, these goggles will fog up and greatly restrict your vision. We also have lots of fruit trees and need some kind of eye protection and we prune our trees on cool/cold days for the winter. Due to the quick fogging of these goggles, they will never do. I will be returning them for goggles that actually get the job done. However, they do offer eye protection and fit well, until they start to fog!

These are the exact goggles that an airsoft brand sells. I think it was Valken. It's cheaper to buy these, than the rebranded ones. Be sure to take out the top vent plugs, to help with fogging.

The inside pane of the goggle is dimpled and makes everything blurry when looking through it. Its so bad I would rather look through my fog than start with a blurry fog. This product is junk. I have no idea how there can be any positive reviews unless all those people have horrible eye sight in the first place. I see double of every object through them. Its like wearing someelses glasses. Trash.

I bought these for only $15 and they work perfectly. I played airsoft all day and never did they fog up. Cold or warm weather, it doesn't matter, they will work great. The only time it fogged up was when I took them off and put them on the top of my head...after doing some research I was told to keep them on or any goggles at this price point will fog up. Great value. Not sure about impact resistence, but was shot one time with a CO2 airsoft pistol at about 10 yards and they didn't even scratch or mark.

my kids use these for airsoft and it works great. no issues with fogging. fits good.it doesn't look as good as the ess or revisions. the strap can easily adjust over a helmet.

Bought this to fit over glasses as per description but unfortunately does not. Seller was great with responding to e-mails and authorizing return, unfortunately cost to return = cost of item, so will just give this away to someone who can use it.
