small, solid, and works well... not the best one for outdoor use
I like this switch, and wanted to buy another (for an electric log splitter). Not available at the time, so I tried Twidec (item B08LN9F6JV) and found it was FAR better for outdoor use. Twidec is IP44 rated (no particles larger than 1mm can get in) but not technically waterproof. This one is smaller but harder to feel with your foot and won't keep anything (like sand) out. Depends on what you need!

Great design.
This is an excellent product. I have it running my wire wheel and polishing arbors. The cord is very heavy duty (14 AWG) and the pedal is small, but the cord does not affect the stability of the pedal. I had considered the MLCS 9080 but the Linemaster T-91-SC3A seems to be a more convenient design and well worth the additional 80 cents. The MLCS has the pedal’s power cord coming out of its right side and the tool’s power cord plugging into the back of the pedal – two cords running from the bench to the floor at two different angles. The Linemaster pedal has one cord coming out of the back of the pedal - the tool connects to the back of the pedal’s plug at the mains outlet so its cord is completely out of the way.The Linemaster has a very low profile; it is flat and less than an inch high. It requires very little lifting of the front of your foot, and without a steep angle there is no tendency for it to be pushed away as you step on it.I was impressed by the specifications and photos provided on the Amazon pages for the Linemaster switches, whereas the pages for the MLCS products were not very helpful. Fortunately, answers from several owners and a photo on eBay were able to provide enough information to help me make a decision.

REALLY convenient!! Well built!
The media could not be loaded. The PERFECT solution for a cordless chop saw with a corded vacuum! (if you don't have bluetooth like me haha)THE GOOD: Built very well! Rubber grips on the bottom keep it in place. Grip tape on the top makes it so it's not slippery when stepping on it. The on/off is instant! Push on for go, let off for stop is a nice feature. The cord is heavy gauge and feels like it will hold up for the long haul.THE BAD: The only bad thing is the cord is very stiff. not a deal breaker by any means.OVERALL: An extremely well built momentary switch that is the perfect solution if you have a battery powered miter saw and a corded vacuum. I wanted the bluetooth makita saw and vac that has the auto start function but accidentally bought the non bluetooth version! So I use this momentary switch with my 5HP Ridgid vac and it is super convenient!

Works great with a drill press
I am using this foot switch with a large drill press. It works great! I wish I had purchased it years ago. I can now keep my hands on what I am doing instead of having to reach for the on/off switch on the drill press. To use the foot switch, I just plug the drill press' electric plug into the outlet on the back of the plug on the cord that comes with the foot switch, then plug that cord into the wall outlet. The drill press' power switch is left in the on position. When I step on the foot switch the drill starts to run, and when I take my foot off of the switch the drill stops. The cord is more than sufficiently long for this purpose. The switch is solid, made of metal, not plastic and flimsy like some other foot switches.I plan to purchase one or two more of these foot switches for other tools.

Quality Durable Product
I've been using 2 different foot pedal switches to control the on/off power to my glass wet grinder and my glass wet saw. The non "Linemaster" brand switch's contact went bad after 10 year of use. The Linemaster T-51-S03 switch is still functioning after 20 years of service. This is the reason I purchased a "Linemaster" Treadlight II Foot Switch Model T-91-SC3A to replace the bad switch. The foot pedal controls the on/off running of the equipment. The pedal is made of durable metal and not plastic that Amazon also advertises as switches.

Low profile adds comfort
I have used many foot pedals and this one is my favorite. The low profile means that you don’t have to stand with your hips tilted which means less fatigue. I have been using this every day to control my welding positioned and shop vacuum with no problems. Very happy with this product and I would recommend it my friends.
