Bread Box for Kitchen Scalloped Countertop Wooden Double Layer Bread

I waited to review this until I had it for a while to see how it lasted and it's holding up great and I really enjoy the fact that it has a shelf in it and the drawers perfect for tortillas

Horrible. I was so excited for this because it was cute. NOT! Got some of this put together. Took the door out of the box and it fell apart. Unable to nail it with small nails or glue it or anything. For $40 for a bread box…such a joke. Returned. Don’t even want another.

Not a bad product; definitely not solid wood but it has a cute vintage feel to it. Easy to assemble, we switched out the knobs with actual brass ones! Fits perfectly on counter with storage space on top. The wood design does make it look uneven but that’s alright. Good quality for the cost. Have to figure out how to sanitize and clean it before laying homemade bread right on it but I’m not concerned :)

Yes, this is a sub $50 breadbox. No, it isn’t a quality piece for daily use and no, it won’t last a lifetime. However, it is real wood all the way around, although soft wood, it’s still real wood. My wife decided to follow the viral trend of making this our device charge box because the cords on the counter didn’t “look good”. I performed some cosmetic surgery to the side to allow access to the kitchen counter outlet for our devices charge cords. Overall, this looks great and serves its purpose. The poor reviews are based on people’s expectations of this being a $350-$500 high quality bread box which it isn’t and which is why it is cheap. Also, the bottom will fit a surface pro.

It did arrive on time. Not sure how long it will last feels like it could break easy. Instructions did not give a lot of help putting this together. My wife really like the drawer Edit: After using this for some time it has worked very good. The bread stays very fresh I think it does because of the vents on both ends. It seems to be standing up to every day use I was worried about that but so far so good

I was really nervous this was going to be hard to put together, but I found it to be very simple and easy. Took maybe 30 minutes. Worth it.

Not to difficult to put together

This product is crap. Cheaply made, the door fell apart after one use. The door was held together with one small staple in each corner. Material on the breadbox is thin wood. That’s not bad, but it isn’t very substantial. Instructions are vague pictures. I never thought I would find an instruction sheet worse than ikea but here we are. Some steps are not depicted, you just have extra parts at the end that you have to go back and figure out. Would not recommend.

Love the look and it's very practical and easy to assemble. The only minor issue would be that the product being charred wood and not stained, meant that there was a definite dark burnt wood residue coming off each time we would touch it/wipe it down. Although, with time it has diminished and it is not harmful so it's more of an annoyance than a problem. Would still recommend this beautiful bread box.
