My beagle is 9 years old and has always been a little hyper, but that's not why I give this to him. I learned that he has low magnesium and found it easier to give it orally as a treat over other products given as a topical lotion. I give him half per day, and it hasn't changed his behavior radically. (Now that he's 9, he's much more mellow.)I know magnesium is critical for functioning enzymes in the body and didn't want to worry about overdosing long term so that's why he gets half of one. The magnesium and B vitamins are both water soluble so it should be OK to help him maintain adequate Mg++ levels without loose stools. All fine on that end too. He likes the treat, so wins all the way around.

It seems like there have been some changes but our dog still has moments wherer he gets aggressive towards my husband and tries to attack him for no reason. So it seems we will now have to try psychotropic medication. Unfortunately, that takes a month to work. I am not sure my husband will wait that long and I really don't want to have to take him back to the shelter because the chances of him getting adopted again, are slim. This was recommended to us by a friend of my husband's for our dog's aggressive behavior. I know of another person who had success with this product.

We have an insane mini bernadoodle who is 9 mths old. Not much helps him calm down. However, it seemed to work on our old girls joint pain.

I'm not a big supplement buyer, however I have a foster dog with a lot of past trauma and found this product to be very helpful in assisting his recovery. He doesn't need it all the time now, but for a while it was all that stood between him and a total nervous breakdown.

I tried this for my dog who had severe dementia with anxiety. It didn't work for her anxiety, but perhaps her issues were too complicated.
