WilliamsMSM-30HF 30-Piece Metric Socket and Drive Tool Set

I'm a fan of the US made Williams products (they also have Taiwanese products). This is my second 1/4" drive set - the first was a smaller set with only shallow sockets. I wanted to get the deep sockets too and when this set went under $100 I was all over it.The sockets are very well made. My only complaint is that the size markings are small and I need my glasses to see them. Usually this is not a problem for me as I can eyeball which one is the right size. The extensions are perfect. Some will complain about the ratchet as it is an older 36 tooth design. There are finer ratchets out there and you can always buy the one that suits you best, as ratchets can be very personal choices. With that said the quality of the included ratched is very good (it's the old Snap-on design). It will serve you well - just a bit coarse for today's tastes.The only non-US component in this set is the spinner handle. I really like this driver handle because it is essentially an extension with a handle molded onto it. The butt of the handle has the female end of the extension so you can attach your ratchet or torque wrench or whatever to put the final tweak on the fastener.I find that I reach for the 1/4" drive set more these days for work on my outboard, bikes, mowers and yard equipment, etc. It really is a pleasure to use.Hard to beat for US made reasonably priced tools.
