Hung this fixture in my kitchen. Have a very open floor plan and it gives off plenty of soft light. No need for any additional lighting. Does not come with bulbs and I had a little trouble finding the right thing. A lot of LED bulbs have a lot of printing on them which do not work with this light because every bit of it shows. Finally realized I needed to look for decorative bulbs. Found some in WALMART and purchased 40 watt because the fixture takes 9 of them. Perfect for me since I like a lot of light but some may want to use a dimmer.
