Awesome little spider toys. My sons loves it, and he is 2.

My grandson absolutely loved this! I Plan to purchase more of these toys. These are cute little toys that for in your hand, are activated by sound. They just run around randomly, not necessarily towards the sounds. So kids won't or shouldn't think they are being attacked. My grandson is around 2 1/2 and it's one of his favorite toys.

It’s a fun little toy and it is very sensitive to noise. Hence, the toy does what it’s supposed to. Pretty ok gift. Kids and cats would probably love it but it comes with yelling, don’t forget that there is yelling involved!

This thing is pretty cute but I wish I had known it doesn't work on carpet!

I like the concept but I wish there was a way that it could move towards the noise instead of just random movements. It constantly ran into things and got stuck. Which is not the toys fault but nonetheless, it makes it not very fun to play with. It responds to sounds but not very consistently. And the motor in mine broke almost immediately and one wheel stopped working. I think mine was defective because the light for the eyes didn’t line up - the light was pointed too far up. And the little motor or gears sounded odd as soon as I turned it on. I’m returning mine. I would not recommend this for young children (toddlers) who still like to aggressively grab at things. It seems flimsy and if your kid pulls it backwards while the motor is trying to move forward it will strip the little plastic gears and stop functioning.

So much fun for kids. I saw this on Facebook in one of my mommy groups. The louder you yell the faster the spider runs. It will spin around and run away or towards the yelling. I think its adorable my son loves insects. He is a little young for it though but he does laugh at it. If your child yells and plays around alot and is interested in bugs I think this would be a fun gift.

I originally bought Yellies for my brother's children (because I'm THAT aunt) but ended up using some as prizes for a Toastmasters speech contest. You flip the switch, set them on a hard surface, and yell at them, they move. Why this cracks me up every time, I can't say. The other adults found them as funny as I did and it definitely beat handing out another round of cheap plastic trophies. Yellies were a huge hit and I'm buying several to have for all the last-minute holiday gifts - for kids and adults.

I know it says you're 5 year olds but I use this for my 10 month old baby girl. She screams and it moves and it runs and scares away and she chases it doesn't work so well on long shag carpet but short carpet tile and hardwood this thing moves battery life is also very good. It also works for scaring your inlaws LOL
