Clean Chlorella Powder (180g)

This is so dark green its almost black. It smells pretty good considering I'm new to Chlorella. I was a little miffed at how the bag opened in a puff of powder, wasting a little and getting all over y shirt, the package also doesnt reseal too well. I like storing everything in mason jars anyway, so I don't really care about resealing the package. I recommend that you open it with scissors, not by tearing.The quality of this product I can't really vouch for at this early date, but I wanted to get on here and state my initial thoughts to dissuade others from ripping vs cutting the bag...I mean, who wants to waste product? I will definitely be returning to update this if I notice any improvements to my general health.I am taking this as a way to expell toxins such as dioxides and heavy metals from my system in an attempt to prevent it from transferring through breastmilk to my baby. I am doing this based upon a huge study released in Japan (where chlorella is like the # 1 health supplement) that followed gestating and lactating mothers and measured heavy metal transfer through the placental barrier and during lactation. While taking Chlorella pyrenoidosa (which is very similar it seems to chlorella Vulgaris) of which this product is comprised. The effects were evident.i"ll be back to update.

I love this! At first it took me a bit to get used to the taste but now I actually crave it... very strange!For the taste, think cold vegetable broth, but very pure tasting and not salty or garlicky. Doesn't sound appetizing but for some reason I enjoy the taste. I haven't had other chlorella powders before so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I do trust the Natural News sources, for anything.I prefer to drink it on its own, because it is too veggie tasting to add to fruit smoothies, so I just put a heaping spoon into like 12 ounces of water and stir it up and drink it.

WONDERFUL product! Don't have to worry whether it is contaminated with heavy metals, toxic algae or radiation -- Mike-The-Health-Ranger watches and monitors the products he chooses to sell very intensely.And it expands when you put it into a jar - so it lasts a looong time! Been working on the pound nearly 8 months, a tsp. several times a week - for two people -- and still have about half left.Use it with the Spirulina for triple the effectiveness -- synergy. I stir a half-tsp of both kinds into (organic) coffee with (organic) hemp milk and (organic) raw honey, plus a TBS of raw chia seeds for a sludgy, odd-looking healthy tasty morning drink, and feel 13 years younger than the calendar says.

I wish this were packaged better--not in this plastic/aluminum?-lined bag but instead in a dark glass jar which is what the Health Force chlorella comes in. I much prefer getting food items such as this in glass due to leaching potential of plastics and metals.I appreciate NN Store's testing for purity--if they actually are accurate but who knows these days.... It claims to be lab tested for purity. I hope so. I appreciate their disclosure of that and origin (I can't remember if it was on the package.

Although not technically expired it was manufactured in February of 2019. At time of purchase it will be nearly 11 months old before even opening it to use it. May not be an issue but not ideal in my opinion.

Great product. I appreciate that it's lab grown rather than being made in an exposed retention pond where it has the potential to absorb any pollutants from the environment.

Grown in a sealed tank, the stuff has a very bland taste. It is also probably safely low or free of harmful microbes.This is good, but not enuf. Without sun how can chlorophyll be formed? Ever seen white asparagus? The product is too sterile, imo. In addition, the product is sold by the "Health Ranger", who, for me, is an offensive rwnj, self-righteous denier of global warming, and tho I bawt his stuff once, I ain't gonna give the likes Mike (health ranger) any more of my money.

Take care when opening as the powder is incredibly fine. Tapping the bag down and using a sharp knife stops the bag from opening violently. The Korea powder is really dark green and tastes great as part of my protein shakes. I'll update if I feel any difference using it daily.UPDATE:The powder stopped me from resealing the bag properly. I did my best with other sealing clips. It's so fine that I was scared to transfer it to another bag and create a huge mess. After 2 weeks of taking it I became suddenly nauseous and vomited multiple times. It felt like taking a bottle of multi-vitamins on an empty stomach. I will not be taking chlorella again.
