4615 -12 in 1 Kitchen Tool- Chef Basket

We have used this a couple of times and we love it. the handles do stay cool and it works as advertised. I have seen reviews complain about the holes being to big for pasta which is true if you use the little elbow macaroni or spaghetti but that is not what it is design for, use the larger pasta and it works great. And for those who claim it is flimsy well like anything made of delicate small wire you have to be a little careful but larger wire would not allow it to fold and flex as it does.I would recommend that you buy it somewhere other then their website as it will be a lot cheaper.

The chef basket is a useful culinary tool and collapses nicely for storage but I don't think it will replace your colander. The construction seems ok but when one of the wires breaks, it may just fall apart.

I really like my Chef Basket. I use it to rinse fruit in the sink & it stands up, so the fruit never touches the sink floor. I don't use it for anything that looks like it would slide through the holes like pasta, but I've used it to boil eggs & it worked fine. I'll use it to rinse lettuce the next time I make a salad.

The quality of this item is very poor. Broken wires badly repaired which showed they knew how bad it was and sent it anyway. Stay away from this product and the company that sent it.

the function and idea of the item is great, but it seems a bit smaller than what is advertised. I will still enjoy using it though!!

I searched high and low for a lightweight, collapsible, and durable strainer for pealing tomatoes and finally found the chef basket! It works perfectly for large batches of tomatoes. With the chef basket, I dip them in boiling water, then easily move them into ice water. Canning salsa has suddenly became easier :) Now if I could only find an easier way to de-seed 25 pounds of tomatoes at a time.

Conceptually, this item will do basically what it was advertised to do; however, it was shoddy construction. The first thing I had to do was remove and reposition the handles (a difficult task)because they were not opposite each other and did not match up when I went to carry the basket. And, since the handles become the basket legs, the basket would tip and collapse. Although I got it to stand up after repositioning the handles, the basket whoppled from side to side and sometimes collapsed. I kept the item because the other functions work alright.

it works. you do have to use common sense, though... it will help you drain pasta, but pasta does have to be larger than the holes in the basket.We used it for draining and it worked. made things easy too! It also works pretty well for boiling (potatoes), and again, make sure you cut them into large enough pieces. We also did some steaming with this product and it also worked like a charm. the lid of the pot didn't go all the way down, but it didn't have that much of an effect.also it folds and stores easily!!!all together a good buy for the price!!!

It works great for eggs and potatoes. Not to be used for spaghetti or small pasta. The holes are too large.The item I received was not new. It may have been returned from another dissatisfied customer.

Molto comodo per cuocere eppoi scolare. Io lo usato per cuocere gli gnocchi ppoi li ho scolati.....e devo dire che e stato molto comodo.

arrivato puntuale... spedizione ok quello che cercavo per scolare la pasta senza scottarci. Ottima scelta.. prezzo convenientissimo rispetto alle pentole con lo scolapasta incorporato

Il prodotto è valido, la pubblicità che fa Amazon ingannevole, infatti nella foto fano vedere una confezione dove c'è scritto che include un buono per un coltello, io ho ritirato due confezioni, e di coltelli e di bonus non c'è nemmeno l'ombra.Lo trovo curioso che su Amazon possa accadere questo.
