I have had several pairs of rocket dog boots that I bought four years ago and have been wearing religiously. Sadly, they recently became too worn and I bought this pair as a replacement.The quality has gone severely down hill. After just a month or wearing the boots most days the inner soles have become holey, especially around the toes. They are uncomfortable to wear.The boots look cheap, so much cheaper than the previous pairs I had. The outer rubber sole is a cheap and nasty plastic that after just one wear became scuffed and looked frankly nasty. The black rubs and goes to a horrible and worn grey.The boots are warm and comfortable but nowhere near as comfortable as previous pairs. The soles are hard. The style is also very strange because the toes bulge outwards making you look like you have giant webbed feet and are entirely unflattering.I am looking to replace this pair as soon as possible and will be moving away from Rocket Dog, which saddens me very much. They were my beloved shoes I swore by but this new pair has put me right off.

This is the second chance I have these boots, I thought they might be fake however I ordered a pair from the Rocket Dog site and they had the exact same issue.The heel support inside basically is very cheap and badly made. It’s a thin piece of plastic that breaks up as you wear the boots and ends up making its way through the lining of the boot.Other than that the boots are very very wide and come up large, ok round the calf but the lining is synthetic. Just buy a better pair of boots - I can recommend Bear Paw.

I'm surprised I had issues with these boots as I always thought Rocket Dog was a good brand. The quality is ok but around the ankle of the boot is what I guess to be a plastic mould to help keep the boots shape, unfortunately this plastic rubs right on your ankle joint and within about half an hour I could barely walk, once I removed the boots I noticed that the plastic had actually cut both of my ankles. I ended up returning the boots and getting my money refunded. I'm not sure if anyone else has had the same issue but it definitely has put me off this brand.

This review is a long time coming, the item was purchase several months ago, more nearer to a year lol.Good quality boots, this was a replacement pair as my first pair had become worn out over the years. I must say that the new pair, the quality of the boot has improved in comparison with my first pair (first pair purchased from retail outlet).The boot is comfortable and more sturdier than it's previous predecessor. The product is worth the cost and good value. I would opt for Rocket Dog than paying over inflated charges for another popular brand, whereas the quality markers are equal.A win win with these Boots, a worth while investment, these boots will last me several years

I have a couple of pairs of these boots, really love them. Well made, good fit, comfy and very warm. Sadly, after 4 years, they need replacing. The new pair is a complete disappointment. As soon as I tried them on, I knew they were different. There is a plastic cup around the heel and ankle that can be felt through the lining. It really is only a matter of weeks ( maybe days) before those cups tear the lining.Also, the original rubber sole had now been replaced by a cheaper plastic one. Absolutely gutted. Have sent them back for a refund.

Arrived 2 day’s earlier than expected. These are my 3rd pair and I can’t fault them. I would say the sizing is a little more generous than it used to be . I am a 5 and they fit perfect first time on whereas before I have had to break them in a bit as they were a little bit short in the toe at the start. I will be able to wear my thick socks in these straight away which is my preference in winter.I was a bit put off by other reviews that said the quality is not what it used to be and questioning whether they are real Rocket Dogs. Couldnt select 0 star so had to give 1, this is 2 too many!Both are size 7 but they are definitely different boots, the neck of the boot on one is nearly an inch wider than the other.On closer examination it becomes obvious that they are different ages, one is blacker than the other.Real bonus is these were bought as a gift for Xmas and as such cant now return them.Will never buy again from such a shoddy companyWould love to hear from the company but no contact detailsSummary - Unless your buying to wear straight away, ensure you ruin the surprise by getting the recipient to try before you wrap!
