I received this big/11'-long awning quickly (10 days from ordering) and in excellent condition/packaging. (Plus, the deliveryman was very accommodating during unloading into my garage (temporarily). I am very excited about installing this beautiful free standing awning on a particular section of the grandkids deck/play area. Unfortunately, it is January here in Wisconsin and I won't be able to install it for two or three months probably. I will update this review at that time.Its going to go in a raised area with corner posts that will also allow me to add sliding (separate and unconnected to the awning) side panels giving a tent-like effect in the very sunny area of the application. Can't wait to get started on this.

We assembled our awning a few days ago. Needed a strong guy to life the cross-beam, but otherwise straight-forward. It looks great, opens and closes easily and makes it possible to sit in comfort on our back patio in the noonday sun. It seems incredibly stable - we put a couple of large flower pots onto the heavy bricks that help to hold it down in order to add even more weight and to reduce the risk of tripping. Unlike other shade structures or umbrellas, it is pretty unobtrusive when not in use. Finally, a terrific solution to a long-standing problem.

After much investigation into the best ‘fix’ for our totally un-shaded yard, we decided on this! We have cement ‘planter’ box risers on both ends for extra weight just in case it’s needed- but! It is extremely steady. Recommend 3 strong people to assemble; the center is heavy...but instructions are good. We close it at night, and if rain is forecast. Will be getting the cover as we’ll need it to protect It from Chicago winters! Good company an extra plus!

Real quality and the prefect patio cover if you don’t table umbrellas. Great cover and it’s easy to add lights and side shade.

Sturdy and great material. The predrilled holes in one bracket were a little off so took some work to assemble but otherwise happy with purchase.
