Q: Would this work for repairing the soles of slippers?

Do not think so. It was excellent as padding for some studio monitor speakers, but doubtful if the adhesive or padding is strong enough for the bottoms of slippers/flip flops.

Under Product Description there is "hardness: 65-70 Shore A." But I don't know if that answers your question as I'm not very familiar with durometer specs. You could ask the seller? I would say no, it will not be removable from a car dashboard. I found the adhesive to be quite sticky. It is as stuck now as it was when I stuck it over three years ago, not a corner coming up. Good luck!
